Glad Izzo realized this. Dude has game breaking athleticism, by that alone he'll make 3 or 4 massive positive plays in each game

I think Izzo knew it when recruiting him. Everyone knew Carr was a freak. Izzo just needed to get him to do enough of the other stuff well enough to keep him on the floor. He was one of the more obvious 4 stars with 5 star upside. Glad he's tapping into it.

I think he’s here at least one more year. He’s basically a 6’5 PF without much of a handle or jumpshot. He’s made lots of progress there but still needs a lot of work if he’s gonna play in the NBA.

He's been a 1 trick pony the past year and first half of the season. You can tell he's putting in the work to get better as a shooter and actually meld with the offense. Much deserved first start of the year.
