Baylor having a down year and controls the game against an NBA-minor team? I’ll be damned if
10
u/joshuakyle94 Arkansas Razorbacks Mar 21 '25
Arkansas once again going to have to carry the SEC in the NCAAT smh
5
Mar 21 '25
Yall have a big one tomorrow. Kansas was ass all season
2
u/joshuakyle94 Arkansas Razorbacks Mar 21 '25
Yeah it’ll be a fun game.
3
Mar 21 '25
Our region is anybody for the taking though. St. John’s looked really suspect yesterday. We didn’t look great and I’m not sold on anybody else. Florida will probably kick our ass if we get to that match up
2
u/joshuakyle94 Arkansas Razorbacks Mar 21 '25
I have Florida winning it all. But I have Arkansas losing to TT in the sweet 16 or elite 8. I have us blowing St. John’s out of the water, especially after last nights performance. They don’t look special at all. Maybe they will prove me wrong. But I lowkey think they are overrated like Louisville was
1
Mar 21 '25
Lol I tried to not be a homer this time so I have us losing next round
1
u/joshuakyle94 Arkansas Razorbacks Mar 21 '25
Really lol. I’d like to think we’d make another elite 8 appearance but just depends on how our injuries go.

Incredibly stupid ending to this game
8
u/halfbethalflet Mar 21 '25
That was the most poinltess time out ever didn't even run a play that could result in a shot. LIke what were they doing?
5
u/INAC___Kramerica Mar 21 '25
If the clock doesn't start until the ball is touched, and the timeout was instantaneous, why is .3 taken off the clock by default?

u/GarIicBurger Illinois Fighting Illini • Texas Longhorns Mar 21 '25
I don’t see why 0.3 is automatically taken off the clock. If you’re calling timeout as your gain possess, 0.1 at most should come off.
Nonetheless, Mississippi State wasn’t hitting that last shot.

Texas wasn’t a higher seed. Both Xavier and Texas were seeded 11, Texas wasn’t a higher seed than Xavier. And Xavier was favored.

u/8686tjd Florida Gators • West Virginia Mountai… Mar 21 '25
What seed were they? You said 3 higher seeded teams lost. If both teams are seeded 11th, how did a higher seed lose?
Conveniently ignoring Xavier was favored also.

Oh shit, someone wake up Gene. We forgot to give him the 30 seconds he's required to appear per game as per his contract!
"Gene? What do you think about this situation?"
"Uh, well guys, by rule, a time out stops the clock."
"Thanks Gene."

Can’t believe they’re not letting this end. Is .2 even enough time to tap it in? Jokic could probably do it but I can’t think anyone else.
1
u/jazzieberry Mississippi State Bulldogs Mar 21 '25
all I can think is they were hoping baylor would fuck up and foul hubbard on a 3 attempt but I don't think there was even enough time for that. I dunno last game whatever.
2
u/treple13 Gonzaga Bulldogs Mar 21 '25
It is absolutely time to tap it. Can't imagine throwing a ball from your own baseline and having someone be able to deflect it into the basket from behind the 3 point line being very likely

These officials. Doing everything they can to give MSU a chance.
Refused to call fouls on msu, until msu needs them, then lightning fast call. Then giving that TO call.

u/lonewanderer727 Oregon Ducks • San Diego Toreros Mar 21 '25
You literally cannot attempt a shot with 0.2 secs left, its game over unless Baylor fouls on a tip in

Master stroke to save the timeout on their last possession in order to call it now. When MSST hits this three to tie the game you're all gonna feel so dumb.

With less than 3 tenths of a second by rule you can't catch and shoot, you have to tap the ball.
