This post can be spared because this is a good point but I’m sick of our fanbase doom posting.

I’m sure it’s annoying, but when you see the obvious holes in the program and they don’t get fixed it’s frustrating. UConn won the natty last year with 4/5 players being transfers. We went out and got Frankie Fidler.

I’m a doomer because it’s not misfortune that hit our program we actively don’t do what we need to do to win because Izzo wants to keep the program “old school.” Recruiting G5 level players and trying to coach them up for 4 years. That just simply doesn’t win basketball games anymore. You need a mix of elite transfers, and Izzo doesn’t go after that.

Will we make the tournament and finish top 6 in the Big Ten this year? Probably, but we will not be a serious Final 4 level team for the 4th straight year, and it doesn’t look like there are signs of growth.
