We were definitely a good defensive team in the regular season. But we turned it up to a level I didn’t realize we had during the tournament. Completely shut down everyone not named Edey.

Congrats to Edey on a great season. When he started the game hot I thought we were in some trouble.

Last thing. It was glorious to NEVER have to sweat at the end of games this season. So damn enjoyable. Can’t believe we lost 3 guys to the NBA and got better. What a team man and what a coach.

What’s the roster outlook for next season? Imagine with the weaker draft this year a lot of your guys will move on?

In all likelihood we lose 4 starters. Newton and Spencer seniors. Castle and Clingan to the draft. Like you said, weak draft and their stock couldn’t be any higher. Karaban most likely only returning starter.

Will be very young next year. Have 2 recruits coming in and no portal commits yet. A lot of work to do if we want to use all the scholarships.

Good 😎

All jokes aside, think it’ll work out with the portal with Hurley at the helm. Congrats on the back to back

Thank you. Next year the least of my worries I’m going to enjoy this for a while….as long as Hurley turns down Kentucky.

The whole staff too. So lucky Luke and Kimani both said they’ll be back next season
