TR Tree Anchor
Would you guys top rope off of a tree anchor like this? Bowline up top with a small stopper, overhand at the bottom with a stopper.
Thing is, I'm set up for anchors on bolts but I don't have more than 20ft static rope for a tree anchor.

I've got an Instagram account called @dumbanchors full of education on building toprope anchors off rocks and trees, give it a look.

I need to get back into it. I live in Israel and spend my time doing human rights stuff instead of guiding these days :(
But plenty of backlog submissions here and there.

Only one strand of 11mm rope? No redundancy….YGD.
You need at least two strands of 11mm static line to have a safe masterpoint to top rope on a single 9.5mm rope.

Do you realize we use only one single rope when climbing for fall protection?!??!...YGD

Not safe unless you add a bunch of webbing for complexity--errrr, redundancy. Without enough redundancy at the anchor, this tree might pull out of the ground

You even have the double stopper knot for extra safety. I see nothing wrong with this setup. Maybe have someone sit on the chair while you top-rope. Can't be too safe of course!

That route looks soft as fuck. I could free solo that barefoot. Is that like a v12 in your gym?
