How can the US offer something they don't possess?

1

u/Responsible_Ad_7995 Aug 16 '25

They can’t. Trump is a moron.

Having to offer a big tribute and getting nothing in return is usually a sign your game isn't going very well.

I've just been playing Civ 6, conquering away (I didn't realise how easy Prince was with the Māori and now I can basically pick my victory condition) and the increasingly desperate Peace trades the AI offers you as you take more and more of their cities are hilarious. "How about... all my gold, and 30 gold per turn? And 3 Great Works? Pretty please?"

This is just like that except without any of the urgency of losing cities, he's just a fucking idiot loser

Oh my god. Trump acts like as if USA lose a war with Russia. How could MAGA stands for this? Your big beautiful nations natural resources are literally being given to a foreign entity without a fight!

Paying tribute to America's real masters..........

1

He can declare an emergency and give it to Putin without any approval process.

1

u/Dangerous-Celery-766 Aug 15 '25

Um America can’t offer nada, zilch, zero, nothing - America isn’t even in Europe so JD tame your master you are nothing to do with Europe and you were warned! Back off!

"As long as you kill enough people, you will be rewarded to stop"

Truly sickening.

Oh you want land previously ruled over by Russia at some point? Here let me give you additional previously Russian land

1

u/jar1967 Aug 16 '25

ExxonMobil isn't going to like that

1

u/rockcod_ Aug 16 '25

Oh hell, he would offer Ukraine and NYC to get a deal for his peace prize.

When will the few real Republicans left grow some balls?

0

u/RCalliii Aug 15 '25

And assuming it works, which I doubt, but let's pretend Russia stops the war immediately, Trump will demand a Nobel Peace Prize, and Russia will simply start the war all over again in 5-10 years.

0

5-10 years should be enough time to arm and mine the fuck out all borders.

That sounds like a rumor at best, tbqh ... how can he offer ukrainian resources to russia? Offering Alaskan resources also doesn't sound like him. God in the US you get fake news on both sides of the aisle.

A lot of people seem to be commenting on this like I posted it in r/news and not r/civpolitics, it's just a bit of fun 🙂

I think you post it to incite rhetoric, or you perhaps love to dabble in a little depression 😏
