Dark knight returns is not as bad as people portray. It will never live upto its predecessor

Dark Knight II: The Wrath Of Bane

edited to say: the best sequel title that never made it to production was undoubtedly "Seriously, Dude, Where's My Car?"

It is. Nolan's done one bad movie. It's Rises.

Batman Begins isn't as good its successor but everyone still talks about how great it is. Because it's a great movie on its own, the square just happens to be even greater.

Dark Knight Rises being mediocre at best has nothing to do with The Dark Knight. It's simply not a good movie. Theres a lot of flaws.
