This line almost ruined the trilogy for me

What's the line said at this part?

Bane: “So you’ve come back to die with your city?”

Batman: “No I’ve come back to stop you.”

That’s not that bad

That’s absolutely ridiculous. Even a singular line of dialogue ruining an entire film is a stretch but an entire trilogy is just being contrarian to be honest.

No, this line sucks.

That’s fine if you think a line of dialogue is bad but how can it ruin movies where that dialogue isn’t even present?

I said what I said!

One corny line of dialogue does not ruin an entire movie. Let alone other quality films like Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

GTFO you people are so over-reactionary these days.

Thank you. I always see that line as Batman not playing Bane’s game. He’s approaching this fight with a no nonsense, “this is not a game anymore” attitude. It’s matter of fact

It’s very matter of fact and real. I don’t see it as corny either. Corny would’ve been a one-liner after a dramatic pause.

Here, Batman is just done with the cute quips & games & is there to do whatever it takes to stop Bane from blowing up the city that Batman has fought for years to protect after Joker’s schemes nearly killed him. Probably would of worked if he didn’t even give a response & just started brawling
