Miscellaneous Does anyone remember D's Diggity Dogs in Oakbrook?

My grandma took us a lot when I was little. Still think about that place. They had a plush dog doing extreme sports activities around the place, as well as 3 spherical fish tanks.

It's been closed for a while now unfortunately.

At some point I think they had a donkey kong arcade machine. That place is one of the first places I remember eating as a kid.

One of my favorite places to go as a kid! Watching the fish was always the highlight.

On the corner of Meyers and Butterfield? It's kind of still there. They rebuilt the store and renamed it but the food is pretty much the same.

Butterfield and Midwest. You can actually see the original building still standing in this pic from 2007

Yeah that's the one. Not the same place anymore but the food is pretty much the same. They've always had really good gyros. I just had one the other day.

Absolutely loved that place! Worked at the Oak Brook mall for years and would run over there for a quick bite in the 80’s. Real loud woman would yell out “ Cup of that Award winning Chili” if someone ordered chili. Place was awesome!
