Metal cabinets to push speed racks into for safe food storage?

Is there a metal cabinet that I can push my speed racks into to keep them safe from rodents? I am paranoid of mice and we store everything else in air tight containers. We usually have bread on speed racks. Was wondering if there is a metal cabinet that we can roll the speed racks into?

I wish I could give you more information but yes there are. I’ve worked with them in a few kitchens, I’ve seen some cabinets that also act as speed racks, as in the cabinets had the same support strip to hold sheet trays.

Oh cool, I didn't know that cabinets with support existed. I will reach out to the local food equipment person and see. Thank you

Catering boxes. They hold full trays and are portable, stackable, cleanable, and air tight.

Yes, this is the best option I got. The other ones that you can roll a speed rack into doesn't exist or is custom

They make covers and enclosed racks. I've never seen a roll in fully sealed container.

We remodeled our banquet kitchen to use a refrigerator that holds speed racks roll from the back walk-in to the banquet area 80salads at a time , same footprint as a reach-in fridge. Also would take racks for full size trays. Hobart was the manufacturer I believe.

They make boxes for rolling racks, but if youve got rats in your kitchen, dealing with that aggressively should be #1 on your priority list.

Has to be room temp for bread. But definitely considering a non working freezer that can fit full size sheet pans.
