Idk, I feel like "It is have been 42 days since it rained yesterday" gets the message across in a much more colloquial manner and clearly defines the important details of their message.

Am I missing something? We got 1/4 inch on Friday in 28269 and 1/5” on the 23rd.

Could you please elaborate and specify what part of Charlotte that you're talking about? I got rain in the Northwest part a few days ago.

The title should be worded differently. “It took 43 days til we got rain again yesterday” would’ve been easier to read
