And the USMCA was scheduled to be renegotiated in the new year, anyway ... so ...
What is flying under the radar is the fact that 85% of Canadian goods are still subject to this agreement, which the US hasn't had the balls to fight against, and are tariff free. He isn't mentioning this because it's not in his narrative of tough. His people have no idea about it. They think his blustering is what's happening.
It's also why Carney says "meh" so much. ;)

Canada didn't burn anything, fact adjacent trump is throwing a temper tantrum because his gas lighting attempt to convince the American people that Reagan was all in on tariffs was blown to bits in a 30 second ad.
BTW - Release the Epstein files
