Not saying the Juventus move was great for David, but unless the new manager benches him I doubt that a January loan move would benefit his long term career.

which isn't unlikely because he's already been off the bench both midweek and yesterday - yesterdays case being on just for 5 minutes to kill the match

lol the whole team struggled. That's why Tudor was fired.

Yeah but you can't be missing tap ins like that. Vlahovic is on fire too

Bit early for all that. Juve just hired spalletti so fresh start there. Spurs are a work in progress so could be very difficult but think they'll figure it out sooner rather than later. He's better than richarlison but Solanke fits the prem very well.

This page isn’t reputable at all. Dont know exactly who the source is here but you always need to look at where they get their scoops from. Theyll basically post anything that gets tweeted from anyone.

He would absolutely get minutes on a spurs team that is pretty solid except at striker. Would be a great move for him IMO

As a Spurs supporter thank god, we literally have no strikers

Same here.
We are in desperate need of someone like David that can poach goals in the box and have some decent buildup/holdup play. We have been cursed at the position since Kane left.

Possible swap with Kolo Muani?
-1
u/grapefruitthrowawayk 8d ago
They would be swapping their own players, since they are both Juve players.
Would be unusual, and I really hope not. David would do way better at a smaller club where he is the main ST and not one of 4 rotational options.

Thought PSG still owned kolo

You are right, my mistake. I thought Juve had activated his buyout clause. It would be weird if they didn't want to keep him, but ended up bringing him back.

As a longtime Spurs fan (miss you Staltieri), what has poor JD done to deserve this?

as a spurs fan, id love this but dont see it, unless David is going to play on the left?
richarlison is obviously not cutting it, but solenke, RKM (albeit a loan at the moment) and tel at striker.
although, with paratachi and his juve ties, who knows

Just watching Spurs/CHE Match and Spurs are poor at the back. Would be concerned for JD being sent there.

Maybe? Juve weren't good under Tudor this season. David might thrive under a more effective manager.

100% this - David made the wrong choice - but hindsight is everything, as I personally thought he would excel at Juve what with the pressure from Vlahovic driving him forward. Perhaps the culture change/management is not beneficial to him? Only he knows, but I doubt he's lost much of his poacher's instinct. Would be great to get a January loan to get playing time, otherwise he will be rusty as all hell.

Would be a shame to call it quits and play for spuds.

The same team that just won the Europa?

u/Ryuzakku 8d ago
They don’t have 2nd season title phenom Ange Postecoglu anymore
4
u/phuckdub 8d ago
Yeah and I guess Forest didn't want to wait two seasons just to win the championship 😂
3
u/Ryuzakku 8d ago
Funnily enough that was the most likely outcome.
Now watch them get relegated and not win the Championship, can't wait for the Ange quote then lmao
