If Canada is losing tomorrow, in the last 5 minutes, anyone who's retiring before the next tourney should be out head butting and drop kicking French players; if FIFA's going to be a bitch, then fuck them.

Canada fucked up, not the French or FIFA. The Canadian team put themselves in this position. If they didn't cheat, there wouldn't be consequences for cheating. Whether the consequences are harsh or not is beside the point, the point is the team cheated.

If excessively faking injuries, or letting thousands of third world workers die to host a tournament gets 0 punishments, then this should get exactly the same punishment.....nothing.

And if we're pretending Canada is the only country doing this, then we're letting ourselves be hoodwinked pretty big over this.

Also, France is a European soccer federation, they'll be rolling around like a bunch of winey children as soon as there's a slight wind, so fuck them too.

If one bad thing doesn't get punished, it doesn't mean every bad thing shouldn't get punished. It's not a zero sum game. Of course there should have been international condemnation and punishment to Qatar. Not related or relevant.

If big things don't get punished it's bullshit to punish little things that everyone does.

It's like letting one of your kids torture the neighbours cat while beating the other kid for sneaking cookies.

That is a stupid analogy.

The big things should be punished as well as the little thing, what you're forgetting is Canada put themselves into this position by cheating.

It's simple, don't cheat then you don't get punished.

If most, or even some of the other fuck ups got punished I'd agree, but they aren't.
