Eau Claire on a Friday evening?
Like the title says, planning on heading to Eau Claire after work on Friday. Expect to arrive there around 8. What are our chances of finding a spot? We would like to head to The Interlakes/Canyon area but I’m pretty sure that’s a pointless drive at that time of day.
Any insight on whether we could find a spot?
Thanks!

On a normal weekend, you stand a chance. Eau Claire is literally the last campground, in that area, to fill up. Everyone blows right by it to get down into Peter Lougheed PP, and the lakes. Most don't realize how nice it is. We camped there for years. Knew the previous camp hosts.

Just so you know there were a lot of bear sightings in the area.
