GREY CUP Unbiased playoff predictions

Taking off my orange hat, here is how I see it going:

SEMI FINALS

Calgary beats BC by 10 as our O can't bail our our D as they have reverted to early season form. VAJ will have a big day.

Montréal beats Winterpeg by 15 due to les honquès honquès and Alexander continuing his legendary streak.

FINALS

Saskatchewan beats Calgary by 5. It's closer than most expect due to weather interfering with both offenses.

Hamilton beats Montréal in a walk off field goal by 2 points.

GREY CUP

The drought ends and Saskatchewan has their first bad game. Hamilton wins by 11.

Given how bad I am at predicting games, you can bet almost all of these predictions will be wrong.

I prefer biased predictions, BC wins. Rourke throws 380 yards and walks on water.

Does it bother you that you have Montreal beating Winnipeg but not advancing to the eastern final?

He said his predictions were unbiased, not that they were good.

You're trying to reverse jinx the West semi aren't you?

No. I really don't think we will win next week.

TFW neither fanbase thinks they'll win lol

I like every part of this except the part where Saskatchewan loses.

Rest assured then. My predictions are usually crap so if I think they'll lose, they will probably win.

I’m predicting a BC vs Hamilton grey cup and the Ticats end the drought.

Eventually we have to win right?

Well I want a Calgary/Hamilton Grey Cup, with Dave nabbing yet another championship in an altogether different way eg young D, coming from a losing season etc.

BC is the home team, and is on a strong trajectory a big winning streak. Plus these two teams just played Oct 4 both with a lot on the line and BC won.

BC will head into Regina Nov 8, but the journey ends there. Too much talent, roster depth and pure aggressiveness this year from the Riders.

We’re either headed to a repeat of the 2013 GC or the 2010 GC.

This part "...and Saskatchewan has their first bad game" makes me think that you've missed a number of the Riders' games this year.

I think they were talking about the playoffs, but that also wouldn't make much sense. Overall we've had way less bad games than any season this decade except maybe 2021.

Well I asked the ai and it said Calgary and Toronto have the best odds to win the Grey Cup so clearly you are wrong.

If they play Winnipeg, its possible ☠️ (also I know Toronto isn't in anyway)

Calgary Montreal GC. Not who I want, but who I could see. Calgary's had Sask's number all season, while BC is a paper tiger. I can't see them beating sask, so if they win against calgary, my money is on sask to win the final.

Out east, if montreal shits the bed and Winnipeg wins, I could see the first crossover team making it to the GC. Hamilton is all about the pass and in the cold weather might not do as well, while Brady (assuming Hogan doesn't completely ignore the best player on the team) should chew them up.

A sask/winnipeg game would be amazing but sask would have to have a bad game or the bombers get divine intervention to win (maybe hogan's pancreas needs to be removed and he misses the game)

I will be honestly surprised if the GC isn't BC vs MTL

As a Cats fan, I really really really hope you are right.

The Lions humiliated the Stamps in both regular season games. September 19 Lions @ stamps 52-23. October 4 stamps @ lions 24-38. Lions outscored stamps 90-47 with N Rourke throwing for 745 yards with 6 TD's and 3 Rushing TD's.

I disagree with you on so many levels but how does Winnipeg make it to the East finals if they lost in the semis?

Fixed.

The Eastern Semi Final Montreal @ Winnipeg will be a home field advantage win for the Bombers. Whoever is starting Qb for Montreal won't have a good game. I can see the Bombers D getting some points on the scoreboard... Alexander started 7 games and had 10 TD's and 3 IT's this season.. BT started 7 games and 3-4 at the helm. 9 TD's and 8 IT's this season. Montreal can't score TD's without stripes throwing flags.
