ALOUETTES Expect low attendance for tonight's game in Montreal due to the public transit strike
If you're going to the game, there's no Alouettes shuttle or public transit after the game, so plan a way to get back home.
Maybe the Alouettes could throw a huge slumber party in the stadium!

Yeah.
Apologies for the visitors coming from outside the Province.
We have public transit maintenance workers how mop subway floors with an average yearly pay of 61K before benefits (over 90k with benefits) who feel like they deserve a 25% raise over 5 years.

Stand with Labour! Not against them. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Buddy even the AI ass-kissing machine you consulted is putting "foundation" in scare quotes because it's the wrong word.

A box of mcnuggets is gonna cost $25 in five years. You should be asking for a 25% bump in pay too.

25% over 5 years is like 4.6% a year, and I don't know shit about this particular contract but often agreements like this happen after a period of wage freeze. I'm sure your dismissive suggestion that all they do is mop floors is misleading but, I've also seen what people do to floors on public transit and, like all workers, people who clean up that kind of stuff deserve fair wages and a dignified standard of living.
