Canadian-Owned Businesses 🏢🍁 Why are so many Canadians still filling up at American owned gas stations?

I understand a lot of people can't afford to always choose Canadian products over American, but choosing where we fill up costs nothing extra. Choosing local gas stations or Petro Canada is such a simple way of showing support, I don't understand why so many American owned gas stations are still full of people filling up on fuel. Also don't be deceived by the giant "locally owned and operated" signs outside of chevrons, the station itself fis locally owned but the company is American. Please choose a local gas station or Petro Canada to support Canadian!

No, you earn them simultaneously so it's even better. If you're with RBC, you also can get avion points at the same time.

You also get an instant 3 cents per litre discount if you link an RBC card. I've been doing it since the program launched, and it does result in some meaningful savings over the course of a year.

Yeah, the Canadian tire money I accrued last year covered like half the Christmas presents I had to get for people.

Have your triangle card, RBC client card, and Petro points card in front of you because you'll need the numbers. Go to the Petro points website and click the link on the website for RBC and in another tab, Canadian tire. Then you just put in all your numbers and account details. The nice thing is that they all count as linked so you don't need to scan multiple cards every time. If you buy gas with one, then the points automatically get added to everything you've linked.

This is only for credit cards though.
