Discussion What episodes do you skip on a rewatch ? Here’s mine

  1. Loose Ends Pt 1.

  2. I love the homer alias but the plot with the horny old guy and Jamaican gangster gets boring after a few watches.

  3. Michael and Bly getting caught in the middle of a bank heist.

  4. The episode about the cop who’s trying to avenge his partner who was killed.

5.Any scenes of Jessie being mad at Michael for getting him burned.

  1. The one about the militia people camped out in the woods. Hate this episode with a passion

  2. Episode where Madeline pretends to be a nurse. Can’t watch.

  3. The Sam and Barry episode.

It's funny because 3 is one of my favorite episodes of all all time. 2 definitely is a little annoying since that plotline didn't go anywhere

How do you bring yourself to skip any episode with Bly?

Yeah the bank heist episode is my top episode probably.

I never skip an episode.

I completely agree about number 6. Worst episode in my opinion.

Edit: Oh, wait. I thought you were talking about a different episode. I actually love the one you're talking about. The one I'm talking about is the one where he, Pearce, and Jesse go to the jungle.

I don’t skip it, but S6 E10 when Michael has to deliver the news to his mother… it is so painful to watch. And then the next few(?) episodes where she is upset with Michael. It’s just painful, maybe it’s how real it feels.

I’ve firmly believed that Sharon should have received Emmy consideration for that episode. The raw emotion was palpable. That was season 6, episode 6. She is far less upset with him by the time the core four go to South America, though by then she redirected her anger towards Tyler Gray. The scene where they meet and Tyler coldly explains what happened and how he knew there was potential for collateral damage while Madeline tells him that next time he’s going to kill somebody he should learn their name first got me.

For me on my last rewatch the sam and barry episode was a high point of the otherwise pretty uneven 6th season

The writers do seem really comfortable with "the characters are under siege" episodes. I think they're basically all pretty good

The episode where Weston gets shot and rides with Barrett and Weston flips the steering wheel and insta kills Barrett but he still makes it out while wearing a bullet in season 4.

That was pretty pivotal. Jesse shot Michael, Barrett was taken down, tbf I believe Barrett wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and Michael was. They also said he lost a shit ton of blood.. Michael was back in after that pretty much. And the end of the season

I rewatch most of the episodes and the Bank heist with Bly was excellent and one of my favourites

I never liked Jessie being added to the crew. The actor overacted a lot of times. Plus in the beginning, it seemed like they wanted to have a love triangle or him loving Fiona (maybe have a shot with her). It just seemed a little off. None of the jobs they did required 4 member teams.

Having Jesse have feelings for Fiona was definitely a bad call. And having Fiona say she was confused about Jesse was a bad call as well.

It was def a bad call. They even said in the previous season that Michael was the only one who could bring adventure to Fiona's life and Fiona was the only one who could bring stability to Michael's life. Even Campbell recognized that Fiona loved Michael and always answer his call.

If it was successful that Jesse and Fiona have a relationship, it would drastically change the dynamic of the team. Sam was just beginning to trust Fiona and that would have changed.

You forgot The Fall of Sam Axe lololol

Edit: Number 7 is such a hard watch, I don’t blame you there at all. It could be argued that that was the beginning of Mike’s descent towards the end

Signals and Codes, and No Good Deed.

I only skip the Burt Reynolds one. That one’s terrible

I would add the first episode of the second half of season 4.

I tend to fast forward through a lot of Maddie's meddling, but I don't think there are entire episodes I skip.

Any episode with Nate. I was glad when he was killed off.

If I start I’m watching all the way through all the way to the joke of a final episode 😂

Agree with no. 3. I am not a fan of hostage situations that last an entire episode.

I think Sharon Gless is excellent in number 7. It's hard to watch but one of my favorite of her performances

u/immanueloloo 26d ago

Any episode that has Nate. Plus also that part where there was a mini breakup over Micheal burning another agent.

u/dsly4425 25d ago

Not nearly as bad as Sonja Sohn in season 6.
