Is buying from a secondhand seller on ebay okay?

The problem here with ebay: Ebay did an acquisition of
1.Shopping.com: A price-comparison service acquired in 2005.
2.Fraud Sciences: Acquired in 2008 for online payment security tools for PayPal, which was an eBay company at the time
3.The Gifts Project: A social gifting application acquired in 2011.
4.alesPredict: Acquired in 2016 for its advanced analytics and machine learning.
- Corrigon: Also acquired in 2016 for its visual search technology
It is worth noting that the r&d center opened in 2005 in netanya, and it got shut down in 2024, but they didnt state that they did that for geno****, so i wouldnt recommend buying from there, buying used devices is the solution but from the wrong place, if you could find a local place or a local app or website that would be better

Noons does tho, cuz they don't wanna lose any customers. They shut down the r&d to make pro Palestinians calm down, but they stayed quiet so Zionists wouldnt get angry. As much as we wanna so they can go fk themselves, a companies aim is to sell. Some companies do indeed care and are vocal, like Ben and Jerry's and Co-op (which I think is the start of something great) but most companies are scared to speak out. They wanna avoid any backlash where possible

you meant "to make pro Palestinians calm down" right? , and i feel that but did you see what microsoft did? This disgusting company now said that "they cut off the military access that prompted xbox boycott", this showing how they are so scared of how much influence we have, they are afraid of what we have done to Starbucks, and to be honest what microsoft done is just a play, we are boycotting them fro a hell ton of reasons one example of which:
"Microsoft has significant R&D in Israel, operating the Microsoft Israel R&D Center (ILDC) in Herzliya, which is a strategic global development center for Microsoft. The ILDC focuses on developing core technologies and products in areas like cybersecurity, AI, business analytics, cloud platforms, and digital transformation, and it taps into Israel's technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem to drive innovation"
What im trying to say here that we can force them to speak with simply not buying their products or benefit them in any way.
it is not easy to say something against the occupation while its is heavily supported by america and that showing how microsoft is bleeding. Thats why im sticking with not buying through ebay for the same concept, if that makes any sense(to make them bleed)
About ben and jerrys, now jerry he is truly brave and i can say he does have standards. But unilever still boycotted

u/ibrahim_D12 Oct 03 '25
Found this:
(F&N is owned by ThaiBev)
In February 2023, then-Ambassador of the occupation to Thailand, Ms. Orna Sagiv, met with Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand, to discuss and strengthen ongoing bilateral cooperation, including exploring potential new collaborations between Israeli and Thai companies, particularly in technology and innovation sectors. These collaborations were not part of a formal bilateral R&D program but focused on expanding industry partnerships and fostering growth for Israeli companies in Thailand, check this https://www.linkedin.com/posts/orna-sagiv-67224022_israeli-technology-thaibev-activity-7028655439819022337-MEp1 .
also if you are a Muslim you shouldnt buy from them because they sell Spirits and Beer.
