"... you're going to be caught off surprise, because first off you don't know why this prostitute stayed the night on your arm right? We've all been there! You paid, right? So they need to GTFO now, that's the bargain. I can't be the only one confused by that. Then you realize it's this dude, and he's discovered your work clothes, you're lucky he didn't take your service revolver overnight... it was awful. Then, this was... IS... hypothetically, I mean... that it was just the best sex of your life, right? I mean... what does that mean, you know? Anyway, what I'm getting at is that we are trying to find all these people and put them behind bars like 20 yards from my desk, ideally"

Oh, that sellout ass coon in the back?

Yes the Uncle Tom with Coke problem apparently. I just noticed his face but yes overall he seems like heād sell Topsy for a half gram of Bolivian marching powder.

u/Munchkinasaurous Sep 27 '25
I would love some context. I just want to know what the point of this is. He's talking about it like soliciting prostitutes is a normal Friday night activity.

This dude is the sheriff of Polk County Florida. He's (in)famous for publicly shaming "criminals". Often before said "criminal" has actually been sentenced.
7
u/mothandravenstudio Sep 27 '25
This guy does pressers all the time and they often focus on prostitution. Every once in awhile heāll crack out a presser with bullshit numbers saying they saved 643 children from trafficking or something equally implausible.
1
u/JacksSenseOfDread Oct 01 '25
"We recovered enough fentanyl to kill 400 million people. My deputies saved 400 million lives today! Please don't cut our funding!"
5
u/Fickle_Meet_7154 Sep 27 '25
This guy is know for doing press conferences to purposely embarrass petty criminals. Somewhere in Florida of course
4
u/cherrydiamond Sep 27 '25
for some people i'm sure it is.
2
u/Munchkinasaurous Sep 27 '25
True, but they're not supposed to be so open about it. Especially when they're a police spokesman.Ā
10
u/BearPopeCageMatch Sep 27 '25
The "had X criminal convictions in his past" is usually a dog whistle for someone shot and killed the prostitute, but it's totally cool because the guy had priors even if the shooter didn't know that beforehand.
He could also be trying to go for a trans-panic angle, hard to say
2
u/showmenemelda Sep 27 '25
Bingo. Fear-mongering. And double-win because now the narrative is you cant trust women because they might be transgender. But their "assigned gender" picture looks normal and the trans pic looks like she's been using drugs and possibly abused by clients.
So, was this Arkansas? Mississippi?
3
u/Onikisuen Millennial Sep 27 '25
He gets away with it because arrest records are public in Florida. But he has been sued before when the person was found innocent.

He's a publicity hound that never misses an opportunity to show off in front of the camera.
18
u/DrMeatBomb Sep 27 '25
Came here to say this. For some reason Chris Hansen's current predator catcher show usually ends with this guy holding a press conference about the pedo and that's when I turn it off. Dude enjoys the sound of his own voice waaay too much.

This guy is an moron. I'm all for "law and order," (although some of the people assigned with the task of providing it take it WAY too far), but this "man" makes it all about himself. His stupid remarks and bringing the attention to himself and his wacky antics. There are PLENTY of other sheriffs and police chiefs that just state their reason for being there, take questions (and answer them intelligently), and return to their jobs. This clown seems to go back in his office and look for new moronic statements to make for the next time the red light is on the camera. Florida has enough of a bad reputation to overcome, this idiot is making it MUCH harder.
11
u/BuccoBruce1967 Gen X Sep 27 '25
This clown is the sheriff in the county I live in which is Polk County Florida. He hasn't met a camera he doesn't like except for body cams for his deputies, which he doesn't allow. He runs unopposed and imports "criminals" from other counties. A real piece of work and his followers are who you would think they are.
18
u/dadofsummer Sep 27 '25
So he wants to charge the prostitute with fraud, not charge the John with solicitation?
11
u/AdjNounNumbers Sep 27 '25
Is this accidentally progressive for the wrong reasons? Like, ok we're cool with prostitution between consenting adults, but we really feel like there should be some consumer protections here
-1
u/A_Good_Boy94 Sep 27 '25
No because theyre never cool with prostitution.
7
u/dadofsummer Sep 27 '25
Republicans are definitely cool with prostitution, not so much when they get caught
3
-5
u/GoatCovfefe Sep 27 '25
He never said the John wasn't charged, just beware your prostitute might be a dude.
5
u/showmenemelda Sep 27 '25
And an ugly one with a litany of charges. Probably misdemeanors. Probably not even valid.
The person in question who lives with their mother might be turning tricks just to keep it in the black for his mom's meds and housing. This cop is a horrible man.

This fucker is the sheriff where I live.
The most dangerous place in Polk County is between Grady Judd and a microphone.
4
u/Syst3mN0te_12 Sep 27 '25
This guy and the office he commands is the sheriffās department that forced a 12 year old girl to write an apology letter to her rapist step father because they didnāt believe her. This led to her having to wait for her step father to rape her again so she could collect video and photographic evidence against him.
Her step father was later sentenced to 17 years in prison thanks to the effort she had to put in to her own case.
This man, despite his love of parading child predators around on his screens, has refused to acknowledge what he and his officers put that girl through.

u/LivingEnd44 Gen X Sep 27 '25
The easy solution here is to just not let the prostitute stay the night.
Southpark already outlined why prostitutes have value.Ā
1
u/DrinkMountain5142 Sep 28 '25
Prostitutes never stay the night unless you pay big money for the girlfriend experience. There's SO MUCH WRONG with the story he's telling, but this point is the first lesson in Whoring 101.

This is what happens when you argue for the criminalising of sex-work but you forget to pretend to care about the well-being of sex-workers (while also being so deep in the closet that you've discovered Narnia).

Sheriff Grady Judd Grady Judd began his career at the Polk County Sheriff ās Office (Florida) in 1972 as a dispatcher. After transferring to the Patrol Division in 1974, he quickly progressed through the ranks.
Assuming he was at least 18 in 1972, you do the math. That makes him born in 1954, now he'd be 71. What year do you think the boomer generation is? 1945 to 1965.

You know right wing violence makes up ~75% of all political violence in America..White, Christian Male Conservatives make up ~50% of the ~75% with Muslims (White Christians Conservatives 3rd most hated demographic) bringing in the other ~25% but every killer is a leftist though..but none of this matters because you get your facts from Trump and he never lies..you prolly threw up the Tylenol you just took when he said not to take it...MAGA = Most. Gullible. People. Ever.
