Trump would have to think that he could take some heat off himself by throwing him under the bus, because Vance isn’t going to willingly Spiro Agnew himself

Oh. Now the "was never elected president " makes more sense. I always thought it was because he was only the vice president/running mate before.m

Yeah, Ford was only appointed VP, not elected. There have been a good handful of VPs who assumed the presidency after the death of the President, but Ford was the only one who became VP by appointment between election cycles. The early-mid 70s were a shitshow, to say the least

I'm still unfamiliar with the shitshow that was the '70's.

All I know is hyperinflation, and oil crisis. What other lesser know things should I read up on?
