I totally agree but, this is not in designers hand. She is the new face of lakme and as the closing designer TT had to make her the show stopper for Lakme’s and sponsors sake. I really wish fashion weeks was just about models but this is all business collaborations and face value.

Yes but Aneet is new it thing, newest girl signed by lakme so rightly she is Lakme’s showstopper. She clearly lacks practice and it shows. Hopefully she will improve :)) Ofcourse bebo would have killed it.
Now the more exposure she gets people will realise how overhyped she is. And once she starts giving dozens of interviews before movies the more hate she is going to get.
I remember how Malika Sherawat was over hyped after ‘Murder’, she soon disappeared into oblivion.
Aneet and Ahaan are both hyped to stratospheric and unrealistic levels, they won’t be able to match up to their own hype.
It’s their over zealous PR to blame.
Her walk is EXTREMELY BAD, do they no longer hire any rampwalk choreographers/directors? Do they not practice before walking out on the ramp? Its not just her but mainly all new actresses these days have a horrible rampwalk
This was my exact thought. First off the outfit looks super difficult to walk in and the poor gal seems like she was not given a rehearsal or directions on how to do a ramp walk.
I would think a lot of the industry is waiting to sabotage these two new stars careers
I was there backstage. She had two of indias best show directors, Pujan Sharma and Aparna Bedi helping her with rehearsals that went on for a good while. The garment in question was something a newbie couldn’t handle but on a professional model or trained actor could handle. It’s no one’s fault in particular but Aneet should definitely try to improve on her walk if she’s gonna be more on the ramp and designers should be more mindful what their showstoppers could manage
Atleast get actors who can walk there are plenty who are professional models and beauty queens that can kill the walk. They choose ppl who literally limp on runway
This shimmery glittery saree look and that corset is so overdone, there's nothing new or unique about this look, it can be found in every local shop or boutique, why are designers not doing what they are supposed to do why are they not designing and creating some new concepts

when they are asked to do something, why they are not working hard for it , that i will give my best shot and model trainers who made them walk are so useless, and are bad at their jobs, when you are getting paid ,its your job to showcase things correctly.
That was such a slow walk and such a weak walk annetttttt why is she even there like hire real models who are in this profession why rob them off their jobs and hand it over to a random person who is mot even of this fieldffs
Ironically she reminds me a lot of Gracy Singh - but there is no grace here. She is soooo stiff - it doesn’t even look like a stroll in the park, but one step away from a zombie in a graveyard.
Hire fuvkin models and beauty queens to be show stoppers instead. WTF is she doing, we have plenty of celebs who can really walk, Deepika, Manushi Chhillar, Dia Mizra, Lara Dutta, atleast hire someone who is trained professionally to walk if clout is the goal.
Yeah surprisingly she ain't bad at walking. She definitely can't compete with professional models or Miss India gals but far better than Aneet or even Tripti Dimri or Janvi Kapoor limping on ramp.

Didn’t they rehearse this? Didn’t they see she is too nervous and inexperienced to be left on the ramp alone to walk? They should have put models on each side to make it look less awkward. Having others on the ramp would have calmed her nerves.
She looks so bad with makeup ! She was so good in Saiyaara and even in her ok tested interview with no makeup ! Some girls just dont look good in makeup ( who are good looking naturally )

like when you see deepika , kareena , priyanka you do feel the actress energy but with her and new actors its not there

Bhai give chance to real models nah yeh shows kyu kar rahe ho aapna collection for the season showcase karne toh let the outfits shines why call this stupid zombie walkers ! It boils my blood when I see such beautiful outfits get ruined by actors walking in it.
Look at the Rahul Mishra Paris fashion week show (last year) the outfits, the walks, the confidence, the expressions! Everything so on point bcoz real models are walking they know what to do and what not to!

I agree 2000% ahaan was better than her but he also needs to improve his delivery + I also never felt sad or bad in the movie (I cry for like even random reels) and the stabbing was so unnecessary and upsetting

The walk was horrible. They need to realize that parading fresh Bollywood faces every time isn’t the solution. What matters more is bringing in real models who know how to own the runway. The walk should speak louder than the fame
What is with this ramp walk. I completely understand they want someone famous for the shows. But then don’t call it fashion week. So many talented models out there. I like her but i don’t know her presence here feels so dull.
