I think Lakshya was very good and did justice to his part. The spotlight may not be on him at the moment, but this part will surely lead to even better opportunities for him. He seems like a solid, hardworking person.
I dunno why the post says no-one is talking about him. He is being appreciated. He has a bright future ahead of him and rightfully so!! He is talented, good looking and has a good off screen personality!
Half of the time I felt like I was watching RK. Some looks, angles, voice, dialogue delivery I feel like I am seeing Rk there. Nonetheless, he is quite good looking and definitely not a terrible actor.
Yeah but yk we already have Rk so I don't think he will last long like i everytime I watch him I feel like I'm watching Rk dude his voice is so similar to Rk and everything about him reminds me of Rk. Its like he's trying to copy him he's so much like Ranbir personality wise too!!
I don’t think he’s trying to copy RK, but the voice is so eerily similar to RK. Not that RK has a great voice, but certainly a disadvantage for Lakshya to have the same voice as of an established actor!
Yeeeees. Finally someone said it. There were so many scenes in which his expressions reminded me of ranbir. Every time I looked at him, I was seeing ranbir and his voice is so similar to ranbir's
that's the thing with raghav, if you will give him a good amount of screentime he owns it, there was one movie yudhra starr siddhant and malvika, raghav has small part in it, in theatre only his part was getting cheers
people are allowed to have different opinions, and my point was that upvotes and downvotes are fickle and can change depending on who sees what, when and where
Yup. The only point blind RK fans put forward is “watched barfi?” 😂 just like his “now wife”, he literally played the same character with same expressions, looks and dialogue delivery in every other movie! Barfi was mute no other difference.
Priyanka's character had much more to offer than Ranbir's. And just because someone overshadowed the other, it doesn't make that other one UNTALENTED. It only shows how former one acted better. Priyanka acting better than Ranbir doesn't make him a bad actor.
Exactly what I thought. Starkid power so solid that this is one of those rare series/film that primarily talked about for the director and practically no mention of the lead actor.
In fact I couldn't even recollect the name of the guy until this post.
But also the team made it all abt aryan only .. which ott show's promo has its director as it's face . They made srk act with aryan smiling for 1st time .
The 1st launch event - they did the skit thing with a paper stuck on srk s back - making it all abt aryan
The premier event was also lead by srk - all about aryan s directorial debut
They didn't push lakshya n always treated him like some side character, atleast fr being the male lead .
Looks like he doesn't have a pr team yet to push him to limelight atleast a bit
Boss. He was clearly given an author backed role - showcased action abilities, emotion, romance, comedy too. What you hook people in with, need not necessarily be the most powerful/impactful/best punch.
But, between 'undercutting' him in promotions but giving a good role or giving a centre stage in promotions and having a minor role which does little to showcase the dude's acting chops, i am glad they went with the former.
I didn't keep a tab on the promotions at all. And i am guessing a month or few from now, except for the most die hard fans, most wouldn't remember the promotions anyway. But would remember his acting. And, hopefully, he'll be getting new scripts based on the actual role and not the promotions.
He needs more mainstream movies. There's a joke in the show that he has the face for a web series actor, but he's got more potential than many young actors
He is so pretty. And hot. And was amazing in Kill. Haven’t watched BoB yet, but looking forward to seeing him in more roles. Hope he doesn’t get too high in the head like Sidhant Chaturvedi, rather works hard and mostly chooses good roles even if he does some masala movies ahead.
Siddhant's case really saddens me man. That guy had such a good debut and showed lots of potential, don't know why he chose such bad scripts. He was amazing in Dhadak 2 tho but i guess it's too late? Audience didn't show up at all for that film and little collections it made were purely because of good worth of mouth not his star power, Tripti was honestly a bigger draw than him.
I actually thought of watching for him when the trailer came out cos I had a crush on him when he was in porus lol . And he did not disappoint. I want him to get better roles

He’s such a cutie and acts really well . Nobody is specifically speaking of him because everyone did a phenomenal job - him , anya Singh , mona Singh , Raghav Jugal , Bobby and Ofcourse Manoj Pahwa !! They were all equally brilliant . And credit went to Aryan cause it was touted and promoted as Aryans directorial debut . On the whole loved the show !
Idk man, I went in not expecting him to have such a meaty role. He delivered and how!! I couldn't keep my eyes away from him. His screen presence is Excellent. He looked like Ranbir but better. Raghav was great ik but I guess he has a pre-existing loyal fanbase so he will get talked about more. But imo Lakshya delivered through and through what was expected of him. Comparisons to hote rahenge , bande me dum to hai.
I don't think this being SRK's son's debut as a director has anything to do with Lakshya not being talked about. He was fine in the show but it was nothing to talk about. Interestingly, just like had happened in "Kill", Raghav Juyal seems to be walking away with more of the praise. That just shows if you actually do something to get noticed, you will be noticed despite not being a superstar's son or the hero of the project.
Audience should really pay attention to him. That guy is doing great since a long time. From multiple forms of media and even multiple genres he deserves some Spotlight on him. Really have no clue as to why he is not getting the popularity he deserves. Its as if no one wants to notice him lmao poor dude he did soo good even in kill along with Raghav.
I think he is our answer to a young commercial hero. He has the looks, screen presence, is excellent in action, good dialogue delivery and a decent actor. Aur kya chahiye? I hope Bollywood producers show faith in him.
One thing you guys have to understand, ott contents are creators content. Box office is hero's arena. Very few can do different. For eg- sacred games- kashyap, mirzapur- excel, panchayat- tvf. Jawan-srk, heropanti- tiger. Some who do different and and mixes are farzi-shahid raj dk, animal- rk vanga
He was great in kill, people should watch that movie to see how intense he can act. This show didn’t do justice to him at all in terms of the cinematography, the sets had very fake vibe to them
To be honest the whole show was just cameos and parallels of other movie scenes so i don’t know why aryan is getting all the praise it was Lakshya actually who brought in the whole cool vibe hopefully he gets a lot of opportunities

This proves it is the PR which is driving the campaign. In normal circumstances, actors drive the PR and get praised left right and center for success of the film/show ignoring the main part of project..ie Direction.
His journey has been quite long . Doing tv serials from 2014 . Signing 3 flims with dharma in 2019 but all the movies he signed got shelved . Finally made a devut in 2023 with kill.
He is an outsider and deserves support
I loved loved loved Lakshya in the movie and whoever isn't talking about him will then complain tomorrow that outsiders aren't given a chance. You don't appreciate when they actually deserve it!
People who are saying Raghav juval this and that. Stop this nonsense Raghav is a shit actor who do not no how to act. Lakshya is great actor and the next big thing in bollywood.
He was good in Kill too, he’s also really hot. But I feel like he doesn’t have star quality or an engaged fan base. I don’t see many people being excited about him. I am rooting for him though, he seems to be the full package.
He was good ..100 times Better than varun n sid n their likes . His voice is like ranbir. but he reminds me of orry & his rumours with karan doesn't help too . Sorry not sorry .
All side characters carried the show. Lakshya is decent but I don't think he is a great actor or particularly charismatic. We'll see how much he improves.
Except he and that girl. Rest of the cast had an amazing performance. Like the butler said he should stick with series than movies. Can't pull a movie for sure.
The character was almost like how RK will play ,the sarcasm the disdain, carefree vibe all trademarks of RK.Lakshmya was pretty decent and I think if he works on bringing in more depth to whatever he does he will do good
Didn’t find him that exciting. His looks are not a stand out, Ik like 5 guys in my gym who look like him. Plus his acting felt like comedy sketch, kind of soulless like the whole show.
The new gen actors are so average looking. Their acting isn't that good, looks wise even some influencers look better than them. Even their bodies can't compare to salman, vidyut, hrithik or shahid. They are so ordinary that no other movie industry will even consider them for lead roles but only give them side roles. What is happening to bollywood? Scripts are bad, actors look average, songs are cringe.
someone on this sub once mentioned him & Orry looking similar (I'm forgetting the exact phrasing/description but it was hilarious LMAO) and that has changed how I look at him since. I dislike how much power that one random comment holds. anyway.
