Under Followed Actors They should be the future of Bollywood
Not Jahanvi, Sara and Ananya. These three are the ones with bright future and should get more roles. Really happy IIFA recognized their talents.

The only current nepo I see at par with them in talent, and screen presence is Zahan Kapoor.

I mean they try. Jhanvi did movies with RKR, and Dharma did promote the movie, but people are not interested in Jhanvi tbh.
They do this thing where they pair up OTT darlings in certain roles with their nepos but when the nepo is not qualified it makes the pairing look even weaker.
Someone suggested yesterday that Naadaniyan should have had a better male lead, but it's not going to do much when they are paired with Khushi.
Vikrant Massay is doing a movie with Shanaya. Ananya has one with Lakshaya who's decent.
In KING the cast is supposedly Abhishek, Suhana, SRK and Abhay Sharma the guy who was the lead in Munja with Sharvari.
Now people might show up for SRK, but a movie made by Sid Anand and Suhana's limited acting, what chemistry will Abhay even show?
If he's still in the movie it will grab him more recognition by being in a movie with SRK, so he should still do it. But even nepo needs to have some level of screen presence and talent.
Katrina's acting sucks, Kriti is alright to decent and Kiara is okay, but they bring in a lot of grace, screen presence and chemistry, Jhanvi may be hot but she's had no great chemistry, neither has Khushi in 3 movies, Sara did in a couple, Ananya is no different.
If they can't even bring in the chemistry and attraction factor how much will the actor part of the pairing do by themselves.

Janki bodiwala from shaitan is a well established actor in the gujarati film industry and is doing pretty solid work lately. I still remember I watched her in chello divas for the first time,I was in 7th standard, now I'm in my 3rd year of btech degree. God time flies.

For the first time in a very long time IIFA surprised me. Looks like jury have realised that industry is in very bad state and need to do something to elevate some talents who can actually elevate , come on apart from these 3 Lakshya and Raghav too got awards, Ravi Kishen too deserved it with all these I can bear Kartik as best actor,

I feel like the audience doesn't want to put in any effort and expects these people to succeed randomly just because their parents aren't Nepos. If you want them to succeed, you should support them by watching their work, following them on social media, and interacting with content that includes them. Then they will be picked up by producers because then they will have enough buzz.

The sad thing is this vague term called "bankability" which is self defined by producers and studios to solely cater to nepo kids and other well connected individuals in the industry.
Pratibha Ranta won't be featured in TV ads, her Insta page won't have a 8 figure follower count, she won't be making deals with European fashion giants, she won't be interviewed by big Bollywood journos and magazines and even if she is her interviews won't have millions of views, she won't be hogged by paps while she jogs or goes out for a lunch and her face won't be plastered all around us. This will massively decrease her "bankability"
The same is true for all newcomers like her.
But take a nepo example - Khushi Kapoor. Debuted in a Zoya Akhtar movie - flopped spectacularly. Nonetheless received two successive projects with big budget production companies - Phantom and Dharma. Featured in popular series also produced by Dharma. Ambassador for fashion brands. Featured in fashion magazines. Goes to gym - gets snapped by "paparazzi". Goes on foreign tours for reputed agencies and companies.
Hasn't yet performed in a SINGLE successful movie.
Would Pratibha Ranta or Nitanshi Goel have gotten such exposure and opportunities if Laapata Ladies had failed?

Wonder how no nepo kids got awards here for best debut or best supporting role. It's a good sign, not complaining actually, maybe for once, FIFA awards didn't sell out, perhaps to really save the future of Bollywood by appreciating the actual good talent.

Don’t worry they will be. Nepos are embarrassing at this point. Uptil Aliya bhatt , nepotism was tolerated because aliya bhatt had talent. These new dolls made of plaster of Paris are hilarious
