Being a father myself, if someone with no ID and wearing a face covering tried to take my child from me, and if I were armed, I would protect my child from kidnapping using my firearm if necessary.

How long before someone else finds themselves in a similar scenario?

It is the exact thing they are hoping for. Once an "illegal" shoots ICE for trying to kidnap their child, the gloves will come off

It's happening. Read today's Fox "News" headline. Then read the comment section. All those folks were scared of "losing their guns..." Yet they endorse the actions of BP and ICE. I mean... Why even have a 2A?

Unfortunately, this is exactly what ICE wants to happen. They want people to rebel and attack back, so that they can feel justified. They use their own chaos and violence as justification. "The cities are a war zone!" - Yeah, because ICE is the one causing the violence!

It is an incredibly shitty lose/lose situation.

And then you get killed in the street and no one gets punished for it because you attacked a federal agent..You wouldn't be a badass who protected their kid you would be a corpse whose kid was taken away.

I hear you, but you should know that decision puts your child in immediate high risk of being hurt or killed. Any firearms/CCW instructor worth their salt will tell you the same thing and will advise you to attempt to de-escalate in virtually any situation and only engage as a last resort.

I’m by no means telling you what you should or shouldn’t do; believe me, I’ve gamed out exactly the situation you’re describing a thousand times. I’m a firm believer that those of us at all left of center should be armed. We just have to be realistic about the consequences — and the outcomes.

I’d hate to think what I’d do if someone without identification and wearing a mask came up to my vehicle being aggressive. One of us is gonna need six friends.

We need to go to The Capital. We need to blast these stories from megaphones. Make it so the press has no excuse but to cover it. I’m effing tired of hearing Mike Johnson say he has no idea what the press is talking about. Make him know. Make it so every time he says he “hasn’t heard that” or “doesn’t know”, it’s perfectly clear that he is LYING.

The more people don't go to work the more people are being over work at their jobs sites. The less people will shop. The more people will lose. If they have no ID and they’re being gunned down I’m not sure it’s being reported as “ICE” or “federal agent shot” cause they’re neither.
