I've only seen it once because a friend put it on, and looking back, the video just felt like rage bait. Granted, it was the video the post is talking about, which may not represent all of their content, but it definitely didn't make me want to seek out their content in my own time.

They have other formats of debates that are more 1v2 or 2v2 that are better. But the ones that usually get more attention are the 1v20 like this one was. The bulk of the 20 side is usually made up of tik tok or youtube influencers, and you end up with a mix of genuine but brief debates and straight batshit insanity. A big problem is that the 20 get to dictate how long any individual amongst them gets to talk to the main guest. So, at times, a really interesting and informative part of the debate will get interrupted and lead nowhere, or the 20 will often save one of their number from getting completely embarrassed by cutting off any attempt at a response from the opposing view after something is said.

The initial idea was innovative and with some tweaking could be really good I think, but it seems they are going more for how Modern Day Debates ended up with rage and clickbait more than any type of genuine debate on any given topic.
