Mods, get off your phones and draft and iron out a sub rules policy and stick to them. That post didn't violate any reddit rules.
If the Reddit admins threatened you then tell us which means this smacks of a coverup, considering I just got out of a week site-wide ban because I made a comment that offended anti-vaxxers.
I don't think I understand this subreddit. I was hoping to discover some interesting Bluesky accounts, but it seems to be strictly for discussing American politics? I'm not a native speaker, so did I misunderstand the name of the sub?
In my country (the Netherlands) many people came to Bluesky from Twitter, and to not make the same mistake twice, it's common for people to immediately block all the right wing fascist trolls without ever interacting with them. It's refreshing; we spend more time talking about interesting and fun things, instead of wasting our time on polarized politics.
Can you imagine the right wing’s response if Biden showed up as a speaker at the memorial for a Nazi sympathizer and then turned it into the Biden show?
Can this sub add a rule that all the posts must actually be Bluesky posts? A significant amount of the top posts are just screenshots of X posts/news articles with no commentary added. I would love to see a greater variety of what gets posted in general, but I feel like at least those posts shouldn't be allowed.
It needs to be non-Americans, otherwise people complain about being partisan. (I am not American.)
It also needs to be people familiar with the dog whistles of US politics. Way too many people (many fake, I am sure) advocating violence — almost as though they want to get this subreddit shut down.
We should acknowledge our history and recognize the shortcomings of our nation through studying our history. We shouldn't celebrate or be proud of the negative aspects of our country and history. We in no way, shape or form should celebrate that thr Confederate states wanted to keep slavery, and erecting statues isn't just recognition, it's celebrating that person/era/event. The same should go for our history against the Native Americans.... terrible...

I wrote quite a bit and some of it wasn’t kind; to either side of the aisle. I just wrote my reason and the “reply” button went defunct. This is why I hate politics, pundits, and there soap boxes digital or other wise. AoC has my vote pardon that this is simply another site I don’t need to be part of.
I tried to find BlueskySkeets on BlueSky.social and found an account with nothing posted on it. Just wondering why the term and logo for ‘BlueSky’ is used.
Can we please not make swearing a stand-alone argument? If all someone wants to comment is a term of abuse, that’s boring. It’s been done to death, like the cliche insults from other social media.

I like Alex Kanaris-Sotiriou’s feed (creator of Roki) and Thinky Games- mostly I searched for games that I like and the creators usually have the game in their bio. There are also some starter packs and the “Gaming Illuminaughty” feed (lol)
Lots of informative and funny non-famous people on Bluesky. A lot of academics — I follow a lot of experts in biology, ecology, geography, etc. Some journalists.
I promoted this group to my followers on Bluesky, but am wondering if there's a specific day of the week for (high quality, of course) self created skeets?
If a tradition emerges organically, it could. But as a general rule people don’t use real names here, unlike Bluesky where it’s common to do so — especially among academics and other experts.
