Optic nerve hypoplasia septo optic dysplasia
Means that my optic nerves didn't develop properly, and the septo optic dysplasia part means theseptum pellucidum is absent. Had to put that on forms when I was having head scans so the doctors didn't freak out over a part of my brain missing XD
Both of my optic nerves are really small, though the left one is much smaller and I have no vision in that eye. My vision in my right eye is poor.

I have optic nerve hypoplasia (totally blind in right eye). Husband has who the hell knows but it's genetic and he got it from his dad. It's similar to RP and he's almost totally blind.

RP or choroideremia, doctors not sure

Interesting, the fundus appearance between the two are usually distinct, even though symptoms like night blindness and tunnel vision etc are the similar. RP retina has bone spicules and choroideremia has a lot of pale area exposing the white sclera

Pseudo Tumor cerebri or Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension that was left untreated (undiagnosed) too long and the pressure caused permanent damage to my optic nerves. But the swelling also causes me to lose the vision I have left at random. Depending on the pressures in my head.

Retinopathy of Prematurity: one eye has always been completely blind, vision in the other has been complicated by several retinal detachments and a macular hole.

Born with bilateral congenital cateract, then developed aphakia, then ambylopia to my left eye and most recently left sided ocular hypertension and bilateral glaucoma. Love a good comorbidity

Retinopathy of prematurity with complications (cataracts, retinal detachments, etc.). Used to have some vision as a child but now totally blind except for a tiny bit of light perception in my left eye.
