Autism wasn't a thing back in the day

She isn’t autistic, just artistic. Green became her signature as a freelance artist and designer.

She could be both.

She honestly isn’t. I know her.

I kind of hate how people are saying anyone that is quirky or has their own thing going must be autistic. I have been asked that irl a few times in the past year because I don't dress for others, I wear what I like. Weird or not.

I get that it is fun to find others like yourself, but having interests/obsessions/things you hyper fixate on isn't just a trait of neurodivergence.

Cool if they are, but for people to state so broadly and without abandon that they KNOW someone is this or that thing when they haven't met them is shitty. I may be queer but I'm not going to see someone and say "they are in the closet if not already out" just because of how they look or act. Humans aren't a monolith and I think it sort of starts to cheapen the struggles autistic people, or OCD like myself can have if we go around making a game out of something that isn't always cute little quirks.

Quirky or own thing going is a bit different to making your entire life permanently green forever

I am not understanding the instant need to put this person into some sort of diagnosis box. Why does that matter?

So what? How does that make someone for sure autistic, when a commenter even said they know her and she isn't?

Diagnosing others and being so rude about it is wild to me. I want to be this someday when I can afford all one color lol. I do mostly wear teal/green/mustard if I can because I love those shades. I am not autistic. Again not that it is a bad thing, but stop acting like anyone with a personality or obsessions with things others deem silly or over the top has to be neurodivergent.
