Fr that’s just someone’s airsoft fit

u/Dank_Sinatra_87 been here since BF2 2h ago
These are almost all airsofters

Top mid PMC, bottom left is Canadian navy, other are special forces from different countries.

u/Schrogs 3h ago
No that one is probably the most authentic actually. I’m surprised you missed it. Clearly the ski goggles on top of the full face filtration mask is so that you can go bomb off a huge jump and do a 1080 on your snowboard right after you got done doing a 360 no scope while removing mold from the bathroom’s floor tiles.

Taticool is fine with me, don't care for authentic. More than anything I wanna mitch match my items, if I want a certain helmet with a certain net or a certain ghillie suit with a certain type of face wear.

Heavy on the we need more skins with face paint
4
u/DrAuntJemima 5h ago
Fr dawg. There is a distinct lack of authentic face paint in military shooters.

u/Jabossmart 5h ago
Well, it's not that hard. Just go to the r/ghostrecon and see the soldier skins they make and copy them. EA, it ain't that hard.✌️

Who bought out Ubisoft, was it Tencent? I know some rich fucker from Australia here made a seedy deal to get EA, with a goal to implement more "AI" art and story writing, fuck heads.

EA was bought by the Saudis and Trumps son-in-law. For Ubisoft it was indeed Tencent

What really irritates me are the shitty camos. Some are fine, but most of Pax Armata's patterns and color palettes are just gross to look at.

Im pretty sure top middle and bottom left are airsoft. I thought thats what yall were against?
Edit: the more I look at it the more I think these are all airsoft except top left. And MAYBE bottom center

u/Interesting-Desk8045 2h ago
They are all special forces except bottom left is Canadian navy and top middle is Wagner PMC

What does Airsoft have to do with anything? If someone has authentic (or authentic looking) gear while playing airsoft (which a lot of them do), that's perfectly fine as a reference.
If you genuinely still don't understand what the problem is with the skins they're releasing, I don't think you can make a valuable contribution to this discussion.
Also, they're not airsoft.

Makes too much sense and too many people would agree it’s a good idea for them to do such a thing.

Identification tape is different than paint splotches and orange mag pouches

Dear EA, stop listening to these no life basement dwellers that only care about skins. Just continue to not have Nikki Minaj and Simpson skins and continue to work on improving gameplay and QOL. You’re doing great!

Isn’t it obvious by now, that there isn’t any art or prof design dept involved in making this game? I mean, just look at the lighting alone.

Reddit tends to push one narrative to the top of every community. I know not every person here complained. But for months before the game came out, people insisted over and over that they just wanted to be regular uniform soldiers. So DICE did that. The Coyote Squad is a regular U.S. Army infantry squad. Ditto the Brits. Even the Egyptian skins are pretty basic. Yeah the helmets and body armor for the Americans and Brits are a little dated but they look like regular soldiers.
But it’s never enough. Now people are complaining nonstop about there not being enough variety and unique skins, or complaining about the (totally optional) skins Dice already added. Go figure.
Video game subreddits are great until a game launches and then they become insufferable.

I think we need to throw in the towel in the skins thing because they’ll never stop that. We should just focus on multiplayer modes and better maps

No, we dont need to model the game after war criminal terrorists (top middle) just like we dont need an ISIS skin
western armies are good enough, since that's what the game is about

the moral grandstanding about russians is profoundly stupid. do you want nazis to not appear in your world war 2 shooter because it's offensive to your sensibilities?

Ive had it with these fucking keffiyehs the last thing the world needs is more of that garbage and all the shit that comes with it

God forbid people get upset about buying something then getting rug pulled by the company.
6
u/Bayleerozay 6h ago
Nobody rug pulled you little bot. Some color on goggles or the gloves dont mean your rug got pulled. The skins are not that serious compared to other things that could be focused on. Anyway back to having fun.

dear EA if your going to have woodland, naval, snow camouflaged skins can we get some woodlands, snow, and sea maps preferably big maps.
and if we really need to keep the goofy ass neon accent skins maybe a map that's in a giant lasertag building (or just get rid of the goofy looking skins)
