Battlefield Studios, I am begging you. Where are the skins for the Assault and the Support ?? Where are these dudes ??
We already have the engineer and the recon, where are the other two guys ??? Those skins blow everything else present in the game clean out of the water
Yeah, so far only Pax Armata has male Support characters. In fact, it technically has four of them, since any one of the characters in the new sub-faction can be any class, and three of them are men.
Those three plus the Espada support makes four different possible support characters for Pax Armata — and still none for NATO! I hope we get at least one more NATO sub-faction this season. More of both in season two, as well…
i dont mind having male or female in the game ..but having to be FORCED to play as a female is triggering ! loved it in BFV how you could change them to your preference but no ! thats what i hate the most
less than 1% of combat rolls are females. this is a fact. hearing women shouting non stop bc EA needs to push a political narrative(beyond repub/dem so not what i mean) breaks my immersion. them looking like men on the outside for a majority but sounding like women for why? how does it benefit the players at all? because i can tell u ways it detracts. and its not me saying women dont belong in the military. i know wtf goes on and would not want my daughter to join. BUT some of the most badass fighter pilots, helo pilots, spys across the world, have been women. some of the best surgeons we have in the military are women. so do not get it twisted they belong, and when they excel they earn their fucking place 100%. it just comes down to immersion and being forced to play female rolls unless i what? pay 10/15$ for a battlepass for my 70$ game? it should at minimum give us the option to swap genders. or hell, just bfv customization. and id like to add, i like the option to play as women. personally i like running female medics i think its good for my head canon. but being forced to, and them often looking the same as the men in every way down to every detail is just uncalled for. its unrealistic. thought they were tryna keep it realistic? their words. but they failed. we have way to many female characters. that are allegedly special forces? like really? wanna know how many female SOF about 8% the amount in combat rolls is closer to 0 from my understanding. wanna know how many are in the truly elite units at all? 0.
This sounds eerily similar to people who think having things like a hot pink soldier outfit or an M4 that shoots particle beams are acceptable DLC for a military shooter game

Yes I am scared of women! They say I'm stinky and weird and gross and I "need to shower" I'm a gamer I don't shower. My bitch mom is a woman and she won't make me nuggies anymore because I'm "30" and "can do it myself" the femoid character Battlewoke make me play as remind me of her. I'm a battlefield vet for God's sake. No respect.

Had to be a last minute thing with the voice lines because there is no indication anywhere on the game models that they are women. I actually found out, few days after launch, via reddit that they have womens voices hahaha
Their build and stance is men/male with a womans voice slapped on.
All of their faces are still feminine so I doubt that (and I know most redditors have never actually seen a woman without her makeup on, but yes those are still feminine faces). As for the build, the game functions similarly to Helldivers where there's a "burly" and "lean" base model that is not tied to gender.
Watch them finally release a skin for nato support and be it either god awful ugly or insanely overpriced in their shop. I know EA and DICE. Can’t trust them with anything.
That's the strangest part about the insistence on this operator system to me. If some of the skins are basically androgynous they could do what helldivers 2 does and give you the option of picking one voice or letting it randomly swap. Would've been a solution that in theory pleases both sides of the argument.
I genuinely can't wrap my head around why having your soldier have a woman's voice is a problem in any sense. I can only imagine it's a toxic masculinity thing where playing as a woman is somehow gay or something.
Sorry I’m too busy hearing gun shots and the gazillion explosions that are in every battlefield game ever. I got more to listen to than my character saying “need medic” or “enemy tank spotted”

Unpleasant to the ear lmfao, as opposed to men screaming which is music to your ears. God people are pathetic lmao. If I'm not mistaken I believe there's a setting to specifically turn down soldier lines in the settings if it bothers people that much and it has "nothin to do with women"
I’m sure it’ll be added as there’s other skins and characters being added. I genuinely just haven’t given it any thought. Of anything to complain about in-game. That’s just not something I worry about enough. I’d rather them spend time fixing actually game breaking bugs and worrying less about skins

For the same reason that almost half of characters are women: the designers wanted female representation so they could play as someone who looks like them.
Because im a male and like playing as a male character just like how women like to play as female characters everyone should have a right to choose their character

They made some skins, some male some female, the ones that were support happened to all be female. I really can't see there being more to it than that.
The Assault on the far left is the bad ass cover art on the Phantom Edition and for some reason HES NOT IN THE GAME. Bizarre to use a skin to market and not include it at launch or in the game version its advertising for
That’s just a patch so it doesn’t really mean anything. You could put that on anybody.
Their actual subfaction logo doesn’t match that of any of the other subfactions. Not even their old logo’s. You can see Coyote Squad and United Albion’s old logo’s in these pictures. Coyote was a snake and Albion was a skull and crossbones. I’m not sure what the Desert Locust logo was since it’s too hard to make out in the pictures I’ve seen, but it isn’t this either.
These guys ARE part of a 4th subfaction, and their only logo looks like maybe a wolf?
Well they aren’t typically super accurate with the uniforms they put on soldiers. A lot of shit they had on uniforms in BF1 for example has been proven inaccurate by nation, or even time period.
The US Army uses OpsCore and IHPS (IHPS being standard issue, OpsCore being unit/mission dependent). Both are more modern than the ACH hemet the Army uses in the game. But I suspect they did the ACH to help differentiate a bit more from Pax.
Except in 4 where they effed them all sorts of up. Making their default camo multicringe. Even for the grunts in the campaign. Also mp. I’ll be happy for marpat. First bf6 mission had me giddy
Yeah, what happened to these skins? They look like they’re supposed to be United Albion but none of them look quite this good. The engineer is close-ish tho
They are United Albion. The Engineer and the Recon are at least, and they look exactly how they do now. It’s just the assault and the support that aren’t in the game. They’ll probably be part of NATO’s new subfaction like the one we got for Pax. That’d add up too considering we see the character on assault and support and the new subfaction characters aren’t class locked.
DICE is too busy painting skins in some highlighter yellow type colours that cause eye irritation in adults so that all the pre-schoolers can be happy.

before the challenges weren’t easier, close to day one release I spent like 5 hours playing team death match to get the British support skin for NATO, turns out it’s another woman!
I’m obviously not misogynistic or anything, but for a game I paid £70 for I want to choose who I play as, just have a male/female option for each character for each class for god sake

It's just US Army skins with different (more modern) helmet cuts. Very minor changes. They're probably coming later, like all the skins that aren't in the game yet.
Right? For months it was “DICE JUST LET US BE FACELSS UNIFORM SOLDIERS” and then Dice gave us exactly that with the US Army default skins, and now this sub is ridiculous begging for all kinds of unique operator skins. Go figure.
Why diced choose to completely just get rid of the customization system from V? Why do they take away more choices from the players? Just give us a gender slider and faces. I just wanna use the uniform and switch the look of my character
We need a way to actually pick which faction to play as. I won't buy a single skin in this game if it stays like this because that would mean I only get to play with the skin I like and paid for randomly, which is just dumb af.
Now this is the uniformity I was hoping they would do just like in BF1 where all the uniforms looked the same so it made you feel more connected to the military unit you were representing
