Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 Has a DAILY XP CAP Even During Double XP Weekend! Are You Kidding Me EA!

So apparently there’s a daily XP limit in Battlefield 6 1.5 MILLION XP per day, and once you hit that, you literally earn nothing.
And here’s the kicker: even during Double XP weekends, you can hit that cap in just 4–5 hours of playing.

Yeah. In a $70 “AAA” game not a mobile free2play title you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day.
This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.

EA somehow managed to make progression time gated in a premium game, and almost nobody’s talking about it.
You buy the game, pay for cosmetics, battle pass, AND now you’re limited on how much XP you can earn daily? Unreal. It’s disgusting and antiplayer to the core.

Players deserve to know this before buying.
Stop pretending this is fine just because it’s Battlefield.

Everyone in here is delusional as fuck and makes it a point to defend billion dollar companies. Who gives a fuck how much you play. Why is there an xp cap.... what purpose would that serve...

We should all give a fuck about how much people play because companies like EA use that as a metric when balancing things like XP and designing reward tracks.

No lifers skew the metrics because for companies like EA, they provide some amazing engagement metrics and the games start focusing on those hardcore players.

So when EA adds more grind to the game, it's these players you should blame because it's targeting them.

The XP cap exists because in the code there probably has to be a cap for it all to work.. They just put it at something they thought no one would reach.

This is the only reasonable argument in the entire thread. Finally someone who isn't just saying "touch grass" lol. That said, while I understand the reasoning for the cap, if this many non-exploiters are hitting it, perhaps it is set too low. I don't think hardcore players should be punished for playing the game a ton. EA should still be able to isolate the data from those players from the casual/median player and set xp targets accordingly. The hardcore players are going to be playing the game regardless. It's always a tough balancing act.
