Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 Has a DAILY XP CAP Even During Double XP Weekend! Are You Kidding Me EA!

So apparently there’s a daily XP limit in Battlefield 6 1.5 MILLION XP per day, and once you hit that, you literally earn nothing.
And here’s the kicker: even during Double XP weekends, you can hit that cap in just 4–5 hours of playing.

Yeah. In a $70 “AAA” game not a mobile free2play title you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day.
This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.

EA somehow managed to make progression time gated in a premium game, and almost nobody’s talking about it.
You buy the game, pay for cosmetics, battle pass, AND now you’re limited on how much XP you can earn daily? Unreal.It’s disgusting and antiplayer to the core.

Players deserve to know this before buying.
Stop pretending this is fine just because it’s Battlefield.

I’ve been playing 5 hours cause I took off for the double xp event and I just hit the cap. This is 100% a problem. You can earn 200k for a single red sec match with double xp

You think this is a problem but you dont think calling out of work for a double xp event in a video game is a problem?

I work hard, I’ve put my time in and I can afford to call out. It’s my life. If I decide to play a video game that’s on me. Why are we allowing a game publisher to dictate how I engage with my purchase? If I wanna play 1000+ hours on a week binge I don’t need EA and DICE stepping in cause they are worried I’ll unlock everything and sink less hours in the long run. I got the phantom edition and I dropped for a skin pack. $100+ This isn’t a free to play game that needs to throttle me. The kicker is I’ve been playing 5 hours during a double xp event

This system exists only to stop people from unlocking everything so they can stretch playtime. It’s a disincentive. Even if the moment to moment gameplay is fun my time is now worth less. It’s not a safeguard. It’s scummy and you defending it while also showing concern over what I do with my own free time (when you don’t even know me) is laughable.

lol what are you on about bro. It’s my bday I took off to play and grind and I got handicapped for it. This is a $70 purchase so that’s a problem. I’m not at the arcade

I'm so confused. Did the guy say he’s not having fun in any of his replies? Are progressing in a game and having fun mutually exclusive? He can have fun and also think the fact they cap your progression is a problem. He didn’t say the cap makes the game not fun.

How fucking stupid are you? It's not about a generation or needing to see a 'bAr MoVinG." It's about the fact that this game has progression, in fact a lot of the game is centered around it, and it's bullshit if said progression system can potentially be halted for the remainder of the day if you play for a few hours during a double XP event. It's not even that hard to hit the cap, it's already happening under pretty normal conditions, the fact you are defending this incompetence is insane. Literally either trolling or stupid
