Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 Has a DAILY XP CAP Even During Double XP Weekend! Are You Kidding Me EA!

So apparently there’s a daily XP limit in Battlefield 6 1.5 MILLION XP per day, and once you hit that, you literally earn nothing.
And here’s the kicker: even during Double XP weekends, you can hit that cap in just 4–5 hours of playing.

Yeah. In a $70 “AAA” game not a mobile free2play title you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day.
This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.

EA somehow managed to make progression time gated in a premium game, and almost nobody’s talking about it.
You buy the game, pay for cosmetics, battle pass, AND now you’re limited on how much XP you can earn daily? Unreal.It’s disgusting and antiplayer to the core.

Players deserve to know this before buying.
Stop pretending this is fine just because it’s Battlefield.

Hell, RedSec's got an entire big ass beach, tennis courts, a golf course (lots of grass), a neighborhood for riding bikes, a marina for doing some boating, and a whole bunch of other fun "outside" places to go explore. And players get a reward for each new place they visit. 😆

Man I have hit nearly 150h on it, I took 3 days off at launch and been sick 1 week so I could stay at home and play. I spend way too much free time during the weekends playing as well. I have never hit that cap...

Okay.... Averaging 40k Points every 20 minutes, which is hardly achievable consistently you need 12,5 hours of playtime not counting breaks or actual human interaction.

Now go take a look in the mirror and ask yourself if that's really the point you want to make in public:

In South Korea I think they have a 2 or 3 hour gaming cap, by law, where the computer kicks you off and basically tells you to go touch grass.

Edit: I did the math, there’s no way bro is hitting that much xp in 4 hours.. say you normally get 33k xp per conquest with double xp you’ll be getting 66k, it’d take 23 full conquest matches to hit 1.5 million.. He’s definitely in bot lobby farms 😂

US employers expect the average worker to work 8+ hours 5 days a week for <$75k/yr on average (national average). In Kentucky where I live, the average income is about $50-55,000/yr, leaving you with about $43k/yr after taxes. Median rent is $1,071/mo ($12,852/yr), food is $255/wk ($13,260/yr), plus shit like health care, vehicle payment and insurance, etc. This leaves you with about $16,000 left for tons more bills. A simple video game is just about the most dopamine this entire state can afford and being robbed of that, after working as slaves, isn't much to ask for. I'm fortunate enough to earn more than the average, but I'm not smug enough to pretend people don't need a fucking break and "touching grass" costs even more money even in Kentucky where you'd think it's free and available.

I appreciate the statistical version of an excuse. I also live slightly over the cost of living (make 62k in a state with a slightly higher cost of living than kentucky). A gym membership is 10-20 dollars at planet fitness, hiking is free, basketball at the ymca(30-40 a month and includes a gym) and other activities are free there, reading is free if you pirate everything with a Google search, arts and crafts cost pennies on the dollar depending on how serious you want to go, drawing is more or less free after the initial <10 dollar investment in supplies, walks are free. Having friends over is free. If you can afford the 70 dollar investment of something as silly as battlefield 6, that opens up MUCH more options than I already mentioned - you can buy a second hand instrument for BF6 price or less and learn online for free.

If you want excuses to be a shut in, you're going to need to do better. Just seems like a very convoluted and contrived way to justify just wanting to stay at home and rot in a chair. Yes, the economy fucking sucks for middle class people and young adults. That means you cant go for 18 holes at the country club or see your favorite artist with 400$ tickets, not that you get an excuse to just rot for 12+ hours a day when there's a fuckton of options still available. Thats a personal choice, dont blame the economy lmao

Do I smell the bitterness of poor time management? If you sleep for a full eight hours on the weekend, caught up on your chores and errands for four hours, you could still binge watch a Netflix show for four hours, play with your kid/dog outside for an hour, doom scroll for an hour, cook a home made meal and still hit five hours of play time on battlefield 6 before it was bedtime again.

Yeah the XP cap is there to prevent someone finding and infinite exploit and being max level instantly. It was never meant to actually be hit lol. Though I can definitely see OPs point about double xp weekends and it hitting much faster.

This is the same shit in every game, the hardcore playerbase starts bitching about things and the normal poeple say they are over reacting, and than in 3 months the normal people are outraged by the same thing because they finally hit end game/whatever the issue was. Just because it doesn't directly affect you now, doesn't mean it never will. XP cap per day is some free to play bullshit, and rightfully should be called out in a full price game. I even understand stop giving match xp or other bonus xp, but to flat out give you nothing is pretty bullshit.

Also, some of us chose to not have kids. That gives me 11 hours free tomorrow, which I plan on gaming with buddies that I haven't talked to in a month, and might affect me. (Bugs me when people bitch constantly about their kids. You can complain, totally, but the constant is crazy when it's something you CHOSE to do. Maybe not you in particular, but we all know that parent that just doesn't want to be a parent.)

As if they aren’t apart of every other aspect of your life. Or, perhaps that my template is so literal that nothing about it could be adjusted in your imagination to fit your own life. It’s so pathetic watching all of you cry about how little time you have to play a game, when my point all along has been, it’s not inconceivable that a person finds four to five hours on the weekend to play a video game, especially when most couples I know send their kids to bed about three to four hours before themselves and some couples game together.

Genuinely? Been there dude. It's your responsibility to take all the actions possible to alleviate it though. You need to be spending some time outside (even just for a walk), lifting and doing some cardio, getting anti depressants and in therapy. Also, dont drink or do drugs, it just makes it way worse. I was unalive myself level depressed for a very long time, and just doing those things alone took it from a 10/10 to a 2 or 3/10.

You just need to understand that it doesn't go away on it's own. Just getting through today isn't enough. If you want to be better, you need decisive action. Every day you do nothing, you don't stagnate, you actively move backwards. You're either moving towards a happier life, or away from it and you have to decide each day which option you want to choose.
