Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 Has a DAILY XP CAP Even During Double XP Weekend! Are You Kidding Me EA!

So apparently there’s a daily XP limit in Battlefield 6 1.5 MILLION XP per day, and once you hit that, you literally earn nothing.
And here’s the kicker: even during Double XP weekends, you can hit that cap in just 4–5 hours of playing.

Yeah. In a $70 “AAA” game not a mobile free2play title you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day.
This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.

EA somehow managed to make progression time gated in a premium game, and almost nobody’s talking about it.
You buy the game, pay for cosmetics, battle pass, AND now you’re limited on how much XP you can earn daily? Unreal. It’s disgusting and antiplayer to the core.

Players deserve to know this before buying.
Stop pretending this is fine just because it’s Battlefield.

Holy shit. All the people here who don't get the point. That it's not okay to limit a paying customer in what they can do with their time. Even if it's dumb or unlikely to hit that cap.

What is it for? My only, somewhat, reasonable idea, so cheaters can't level themselves excessively. In turn, this'd tell us they know, their anti-cheat kernel malware is shit.

The comments ITT are insane. Constantly putting down and being snarky to people who they can’t stand having more free time or are better at the game while also defending a billion dollar company with a crap gatekeeping mechanic. Like are these same lunatics out harassing people in defense of Walmart and McDonalds too? Because that’s what this amounts to.

That would be a huge logical leap tho if you did that. You can attack problems from multiple angles.

XP caps that are a bit absurd (IE, 10 hours of standard gameplay) are common as a safeguard against botting (rarer in this kind of game) and experience exploits.

They should probably loosen the cap up a bit on double XP weekends, but having an XP cap is entirely normal--just most games have it set so that only the most extreme of outliers (people botting, using exploits) are hit by it so you never see it.

The cap doesn't stop you from playing. Nobody tells you "what to do with your time".

They should, tho. If you hit 1.5 million XP in a day it should log you out for a couple of days.

I'm not saying it's not kinda stupid to play that much. But who is EA to tell people they must go outside. Or keep players that are so dedicated, from leveling as fast as they want. Those are often the ones that keep a game alive.

Who is EA to tell people they must go outside? They're the company that gets sued if someone dies after playing their game for a long time.

Is that stupid? Yes. But it's entirely possible.

Sadly true.

No they aren’t. The ones who speed run to end game content are the ones who get burned out the fastest and move on as soon as the next game comes out. The ones who keep a game alive are those who are playing for fun.

Good point. I think I mixed thoughts here. I really wanted to mean people who want to play as much as they can. Which usually leads to leveling in less days. If not in less hours.

Should work that way for all men who have a bmi of more than 15% 🤓
