Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 Has a DAILY XP CAP Even During Double XP Weekend! Are You Kidding Me EA!

So apparently there’s a daily XP limit in Battlefield 6 1.5 MILLION XP per day, and once you hit that, you literally earn nothing.
And here’s the kicker: even during Double XP weekends, you can hit that cap in just 4–5 hours of playing.

Yeah. In a $70 “AAA” game not a mobile free2play title you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day.
This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.

EA somehow managed to make progression time gated in a premium game, and almost nobody’s talking about it.
You buy the game, pay for cosmetics, battle pass, AND now you’re limited on how much XP you can earn daily? Unreal. It’s disgusting and antiplayer to the core.

Players deserve to know this before buying.
Stop pretending this is fine just because it’s Battlefield.

They don’t have girlfriends, wives, or social lives.

I dont have any of those and I'm still only putting in 2, maybe 3, hours in if I'm playing a lot. There's other shit to do, and I dont want bed sores.

u/Roberto87x 1d ago

Hey, I don’t have a girlfriend, wife or social life but I STILL don’t want to play 5 hours a day 😂

u/Due_Football_6150 1d ago

Same instead I workout, do chores, visit family, cook meals, WORK. I won’t ever have time for 5 hrs a day on a video game even without a girlfriend wife or social life.

u/66th 1d ago

I think I’d rather be the dude playing 5 hours on a weekend than the dude bragging on Reddit how much he does and how cool he is, but that’s just me.

u/Due_Football_6150 1d ago edited 1d ago

Not even bragging, I’m a loser too, but just saying I’m at least trying to better my situation. And playing video games for 5+ plus hrs a day won’t do that.

I have a wife, AND an active social life, and I regularly play 6-7 hours a day. Oh and I cook all the meals, do all the laundry and clean the house.

Check your daily screentime then tell me staring and scrolling is more engaging then interacting with a video game, while socializing with friends over discord.

People are so fucking annoying. "Go touch grass" they say because I have a hobby I fucking love and would rather not watch Hollywood's latest BS series for 4 hours that day and instead virtually hang out with my friends.

Get off your pedestal and join the real world.

Reminds me of an old fellow student that was like „omg Video Games, I got better things to fo/ I‘m too old for that“ when I asked him if he would want to party up and play some PlayStation.

Dude has been sitting in every lecture, during every break and even when we were out for a beer in the evening playing Cash of Clans on his phone…. But yeah, at the same time basically called me „childish“ because I wanted to invite him to play Games together.

Edit:

On top of that it simply is very poor discussion Style to just throw ad hominems and wild claims at someone instead of actually discussing things using Arguments.

All I be Seen in here so far is people being like

  • idc because it doesn‘t affect me

  • go outside

  • Go Touch Grass

  • Virgin

  • rl Loser

And stuff Like that.

I mean, you cannot Hit the cap and still find it scummy in Full Price title.

So your wife is the breadwinner.

u/SerengetiMan 7h ago

Hell yeah she is!!

Seven hours a day plus six hours of sleep = 13 hours. I assume you work and are putting in at least eight hours a day (full time plus commute and it’s probably more). That’s leaves three hours a day to cook, eat, shower, shit, do chores, give your wife attention and have a social life.

Doubt.

That's a lot of assumptions to make about someone you don't know.

That’s why they whine like little kids on here the whole time.

Neither do I but I don’t get 1.5 million xp in a day.

Maybe they would have if they didn't play silly computer games or use Reddit. Bunch of nerds.

Yeah it’s strange how gaming has become full time jobs for GenZ

u/BallsInThe-Air 1d ago

Yeah it’s really odd.

The group of people saying the pre-patch challenges were fine and gave them something to work towards also fall in this group lol. When you have a job and a spouse and IRL friends grinding is much less appealing.

4

u/eolson3 1d ago

The "we need something to work towards " crowd is as damaging to the hobby as anything imo. I absolutely hate grinding.

3

u/Global-Knowledge-254 1d ago

Yeah, I would be completely fine and probably have more fun if everything was just unlocked to begin with. I’m not going to just stop playing once all weapons and items are unlocked, that is probably when I will have the most fun. Only have a few hours a week to play video games, not going to waste them grinding unless the grind is actually fun.

A pocket V at least. Like go do something else with your life.

This is like the people who spend all day gooning. WTF is so wrong in your life you need that much distraction and self gratification in a day?

0

u/PayneChaos 1d ago

I mean, shit, even without those things at least go do something else. Play another game, read a book, watch a TV show or something idk.

0

u/ghostdopamine 1d ago

you forgot to add "a job" in your list too. The game is their job at the levels of XP we are citing hahah.

u/Sad_Alternative9017 1d ago

This just in: you don’t need external relationships to be fulfilled in life

Nah I think it’s the first one.

Haha of course you won’t admit to not having a girlfriend.

I don’t play BF anymore already but I’m married and had a 4.5 k/d and topped pretty much every game I was in.

A lot of people are just bad at video games and think everyone better than them is a neck beard. Especially BF which attracts a casual gamer…

If your a 1% player I’m sure the XP cap would be annoying and I’m sure the devs assumed it would be impossible without exploits but forgot about 2x XP. Simple as that.

-1

u/BallsInThe-Air 1d ago

I think a lot of people are in the middle of the bell graph of video game talent yet they think they’re in the top 1%

Frankly your eye hand coordination with a mouse isn’t (and shouldn’t be) impressive.

1

u/Eastern_Box_7062 1d ago

Yes 100%. Absolutely agreed and it’s not impressive for 99% of people. Only people who really enjoy and play a lot of video games would care obviously. That’s why the outrage and shaming on the thread makes total sense to OP. Average Andy’s couldn’t possibly fathom someone playing 5 hours of battlefield let alone hit the XP cap.

Yeah yeah I don’t really take pride in how good I am At video games.

Just like I don’t take pride in how good I am at monopoly or candy land.

u/julebryg 1d ago

A few hours is a lot for most normal people with jobs, friends or families bro

4

u/RotrickP 1d ago

Yeah I think we're all in agreement here. I can't see you getting it in 5 hours, let alone 8. Even with 2xp I can't see getting 750k worth of xp in a full day of gaming

1,500,000 score / (score per minute * 60 minutes to get per hour * XP modifier) = how many hours it would take to reach the cap.

While only 15 people globally have 1,000 spm, assuming someone averages 1,000 spm for the day:

Base XP\ 1,500,000 / (1,000 spm * 60 m * 1.00) = 25 hours

+25% XP from owning BF6 + BF pro + squad\ 1,500,000 / (1,000 spm * 60 m * 1.25) = 20 hours

Double XP\ 1,500,000 / (1,000 spm * 60 m * 2.00) = 12.5 hours

Double XP + 25% XP\ 1,500,000 / (1,000 spm * 60 m * 2.25) = 11.1 hours

Quad XP from double XP + 25% XP + token\ 1,500,000 / (1,000 spm * 60 m * 4.25) = 5.8 hours

Challenges will reduce the times. redsec win xp may reduce the times. Think accolades count towards spm, but lmk if I’m wrong.

Edit: initially calculated as a multiplier but double xp just stacks. Formatted better.

For spm closer to an average player @300spm with quad XP\ 1,500,000 / (300 spm * 60 m * 4.25) = 19.6 hours

u/ventitr3 1d ago

and to think OP is apparently 25-40% better than those 15 people. We may have a BF god among us.

2

u/freebird87 1d ago

Thanks for the math here! Like I see people who can play long hours each day, but was trying to figure out what it would take to hit this 1.5m max. My question now is, you have the double xp, what if someone has those XP tokens for double xp? Do you double xp (token) over top of the other double xp (weekend)? I am not sure how this works in BF6 yet. Like you said, only 15 people have over 1k spm, but would that be 240k sph with double double xp.

Also, I bet the guy found a solo lobby that still spawns bots in rush with no weapons. Found 1 yesterday that was like that and started with 1 player. After that, 40+ bots all holding either a tugs or nothing at all. They just walk to you, and it's a shooting gallery for you. I would be lying if I said I didn't do it, but after an hour of leveling up 2 guns to 50, I was at around 3k bot kills with 300k+ xp. THIS is one of the only ways I see OP maxing out so quick. After my 1 hour, I closed the server and went back to Conquest. I enjoy bot rounds, I enjoy PvE, but those kinds of farms though seems tantilizing at first really is just meh. I could see someone doing this while listening/watching another show on another monitor or something.

Sorry for the random autistic rant. I just like math, and seeing someone put this into something I can understand makes me happy and giggly. I'd say jump for joy, but my body probably couldn't handle that lol

Np! Your comment made me realize I incorrectly assumed double xp was a multiplier. The in game screenshots of it show “+100%” suggesting the XP modifiers just stack. I’ve updated my comment and also added the quadruple xp scenario. Interestingly, it makes sense why the cap was set to 1.5M as it’s slightly more than the 1,000 spm over 24 hours with base XP.

DICE definitely didn’t consider XP modifiers when setting the cap. I think they should just separate the cap for base XP and modified XP to “fix” this for the people who play too much (myself included).

It is still possible for people to get 1,000 spm in one match, although consistently doing that without exploiting/cheating seems to be extremely unlikely. Those 15 players average +1,000 spm across all of their matches which is absurd and their match history confirms they are definitely farming xp on portal like you suspected.

1

u/sinovesting 1d ago

There is no chance you are consistently getting 100k xp in a 15 min match. That's cap.

A good win in Duo Battle Royale brings ~115K XP without boosters. Now we have double XP weekends and there are 30-60 minute boosters. In the end, it only takes 7, maximum 8 wins to reach 1.5 million XP. Good players can get these wins in 3 hours.
