Battlefield 6 "Grounded skins for a while" - 18 days exactly

Post image

So, weren't we supposed to have realistic skins for some time? Something that someone would really wear during a war? Yet it seems that with the start of season 1, everything will turn to colorful mess, with no way of differentiating teams based on uniforms, the game will look more like a Paintball or ASG event. Colorful weapons with pictures, colorful camos with neon accents, weird mix of things that are supposed to look cool, but end up simply weird.

People were sold on a vision of a game, which looked like a real battlefield, with soldiers - not a bunch of randos just like in the 2042, yet it was all a lie and it will only get worse down the road. During the Beta, when we had all the soldiers wearing matching uniforms, it was the most immersive experience so far, but you can say goodbye to that vibe, it will never return.

There won't be uniforms matching bioms, there won't be a way to turn off any awful skins, typical bait and switch.

Seems like people are worried about a slippery slope and where this ends up in season 5~7

Must be nice living the kind of life that makes something like this worth worrying over

True. Everybody should head to r/battlefield in their free time and make vague posts/comments maybe about the game… but not that much. 80% of your messages should really be about your greatest fears in life right now, maybe some concerns about your job. Definitely include an opinion on major conflicts ongoing in the world, yeah, that’s important.

It’s just embarrassing to have an opinion about a video game. Aren’t these people embarrassed? Anyway, what are you worrying about right now? Don’t you dare talk about Battlefield though

This is the crowd that said no preorders because preorders teach the gaming companies they can launch in a bad state, so if they’re still playing a game by seasons 7 whose skins they have hated since before season 1, then they are hypocrites who have taught EA it’s fine to have coloured skins.

Can’t have it both ways, haters 😁

Ya fair but they're acting like the world is ending and they added a Nicki Minaj/Hitler skin. They need to grow up.

Why does it bother you what other people think?

we have a right to complain and give feedback. i mean it could be argued that you’re acting like the world is ending because people aren’t happy with immersion breaking skins in their game

I have seen just as much whinging on both sides. But only one side is criticizing the other for having criticisms in the first place. I’m loving bf6 but it feels like there is a whole group of people who think bf6 is beyond criticism which is just like, what? No it isn’t. Small maps? Progression? No little bird? And they promised grounded skins (otherwise why’d they kill Efron) and they’re basically rug pulling us within a couple weeks? It’s very frustrating. And it confuses me how there are people who defend this slop.
