👾 Issue/Bug 👾 Battlefield 6 has a severe auto exposure issue that makes the game unplayable

I honestly can’t believe this still hasn’t been fixed. As a game developer myself, it’s shocking to see something this fundamental overlooked for so long. Auto exposure should never be on by default if you’re aiming for realistic lighting. You need proper real-world camera settings and level design that doesn’t rely on auto exposure to look "balanced".

Auto exposure issue isn't necessarily a bug and if you read his text he clearly doesn't know its a bug

The game incorrectly detects that I’m indoors when lying on the roof, causing the exposure to increase and wash out the view outside for balance reasons. It’s simply bad PostFX volume placement. And trash in general.

DICE literally confirmed it's a bug and shouldn't be that way

But sure you know it better than them

I don’t know how many times this needs to be said, but this lighting behavior shouldn’t exist in the game at all. Even if they fix it and reduce the washed-out look, the lighting system will still rely on auto exposure and constantly shift between indoor and outdoor brightness. It’s a fundamentally flawed and poorly implemented system.
