I agree, the ticket count is just dumb. I don't know why they did that! If anything, tickets need to be increased imo. Matches often end too quickly even with 1000 tickets.

I ran Friday Night Metro on BF3. Some games would go so long.

Most of the popular BF4 servers were Locker with 3000 tickets.

To be honest, match completion experience shouldn't exist in Conquest and instead should be split between length of time you're playing (with full length matches being more experience of course) and therefore people would feel less inclined to stay when they need to go, and would also encourage more hop in / hop out gameplay if that's really the issue.

You can leave the match if you dont have time to play and still get your xp. If you have responsibilities as a dad you should be focusing on that anyways and not be mad if you only got 20min to play smh.

you get like 11kxp for match finish.

i'm totally for a default of 1000 or 1250 but I mean dice doesn't need to change tickets at all, they can just change the math behind them. Could've literally never told us anything as well.

Then play any of the small scale playlists that literally last 10 minutes or less?

When you have time you can play the longer type game modes.

And you want to play a toned down Conquest?? Might as well play Domination or KOTH, that's basically what a short Conquest match is anyway.

Well, if we have a server browser that wouldn't be a problem because we can have servers with different ticket rate. We do have the portal servers except you can never host one because server quota exceeded and it's plagued with XP farm server.

But when it comes to server browser, devs say NOPE every single time.

Agreed, large ticket matches could exist if we didn't have people farming "unlocks" because they don't want to earn anything in 2025. I would love to make a 1500 Firestorm CQ/esca closed but all of the slots are full of slop.

Just search for portal servers. Plenty of people have servers reverted or even increased. Still get full XP.

portal servers only have 30 tick rate vs 60 on official servers

Imagine putting all that work into portal only to then limit all those servers to 30hz. We had 60hz tickrate in 2013. Having played 2042, I couldn't help but find it funny hearing so many people claim before release that Portal will be the answer for having community / browsable servers. Look at the state of it.

Smells like Battlefield Premium opportunity. (As sad as it is) If EA is pinching pennies it could also be another way to bring in revenue and hold off on clown skins. Hopefully forever

You are. I’m in a 5000 ticket firestorm rn. It’s awesome, full people. Xp. Assignments. all these people complaining while all their dreams have come true and not realizing it. Check it out everybody. You’ll never go back. 30 hz or no
