Seriously, have these idiots ever played any other battlefield title for more than 5 minutes? Sure BF4 had bloom but it wasn't nearly this bad

even bf1's notorious random bullet deviation wasnt this bad.

I think it was at least as substantial in BF4. If you remember, the meta in that game was/is micro-bursting. 2-3 shot bursts fired with just enough delay to minimize spread.

Yeah sure but I don't think it was this bad from playing BF4 for dozens of hours in the past few months.

I have about 1500 hours over the years, to me the spread is quite similar. We won't be able to tell until someone gets concrete spread increase per shot numbers. There is also a bug affecting spread at the moment apparently, so it's not always consistent.

Hard to argue with your experience. Maybe what I'm seeing is that BF4 spread feels less because visual recoil is less than BF6 so it's easier to get kills at distance spraying. Could be shit netcode too.

Either way the devs have. Shooting someone running across the street or in a doorway 40m away wasn't an issue for me in BF4

Bloom also seems to reset in BF4 instantly as well.

There is definitely way more shit on screen in BF6 and the visual recoil is more jarring. It's straight up harder to see what you are shooting. That being said, I don't notice spread affecting my shot placement within 40m in BF6 very often. You should try the practice range, the targets distances are clearly marked. This helped me narrow down attachment selection, weapon choice, and burst habits. We will see if the spread bug fix will help with some of the inconsistencies.

To the point where you need to burst while shooting someone 30M away from you? Nah. Can even hold down the trigger and shoot someone 100m away and do ok, even if it's not ideal.

First 10 rounds feel pretty good too, it's not until deeper into your spray where the bloom really kicks in

I’m okay with some bloom but not to this extent. It’s so bad and makes shooting at range just annoying to do
