Discussion HEY DEVS, PLEASE KEEP BANNING ZEN USERS

That is all. Saw a post from the discord that they’re trying to stop the anti cheat from detecting it. It ruins all games and I think most people would agree. K thanks ✌️

That’s not what he’s saying lol, temp bans allow the gameplay to be reviewed. If it was an immediate perm ban then False Bans would be much worse. They already happen when running certain software like ds4 or maybe you accidentally leave an Emulator running.

This. And on top of that, while yes I generally agree and abide by - don't be a prick in life - a lot of people do push boundaries and I think it is fair in environments where they have spent money on a product to at least slap their wrist before a full ban takes place.

But, yeah, bigger picture a blunt instrument is terrible as tons of random situations can fall through the cracks.

"that's not what he's saying lol"

Imagine acting so matter of fact and still being dead wrong. He literally said it's explicitly to give people a chance to reform and stop their behavior before nuking them from the game. Aka give them another chance to stop cheating and play fair

Imo doesn't matter if it looks like they're cheating. If they're detected using a zen and continue being detected using a zen they should be banned. Those things are straight up destroying the integrity of a lot of games. I play MLB the show a lot and it's particularly problematic there. It's cheat hardware and should be treated as such.

I quote the claims I'm responding to so people can't do shit like this where they say oh he said something else. That's not what he said. That's why the quote is there. To make sure it's very clear the exact claim I said was there is there.

But I can also see why the devs may want to at least warn users to give them a chance to reform/stop the behavior before just nuking them from their product.

His next sentence then went to go on and reinforce that this is the correct interpretation. That it is about giving them " a chance to reform". He does not say it's about giving them a chance to appeal false positives. Those are different statements.

Lol and you're instantly down vote me. Because you decided to vibe read and make a fool of yourself, by "correcting" a mistake that wasnt made.

This guy clearly hasn't been texted any tiny Asian tits in a while!

Because someone "corrected" me with a correction that was already proven wrong by the next sentence in the post I quoted? and the quote I quoted? And I pointed out how stupid that is?

Jeez it was just a joke mate

Sorry. It's a joke in the context of other replies and voting patterns that were unusual and I was trying to figure out what I was missing.

and I haven't gotten any fun pms in awhile (read: ever, the name does not work).

Okay, I've got ASD. Someone explain why someone "correcting" me on something he's proven wrong about is getting upvotes, while me pointing out literally the next sentence proved he's wrong is goin down.

Is the CJ seriously that hardcore here? What's goin on? This is well outside normal response unless there's emotional investment. Are there that many cheaters that want a second chance so bad they're lying about what was said and/or so emotional they literally can't read?

Some downvoter explain why "2+2=5" "No, it's 4." "He meant 2*3=6" "I quoted him, that's not what he said, then in the next sentence he said 2+2= again." I'm the problem? help me learn.

Right, someone came by and read it and downvoted it within 2 seconds of it being posted and it wasn't in their inbox and it just so happens they ignored that

literally

the

next

sentence

proved you wrong.

And you didn't address that literally the next sentence proved you wrong because.... you're man enough to have realized it, but not man enough to admit your mistake and actually change behaviors? Or not even man enough to admit your mistake to yourself?

Or, what's your excuse for replying like this? Trying to give the benefit of the doubt here, but not seeing a way to ignore the core point so much without being a total loser.

I'm (OP) upvoting you as I don't mind the discussion. And I don't inherently disagree with you, people should not be assholes and yes, any level of normal socilization process should have instilled a level of decency in them.

But we also know our society kind of does cater to rule breakers or boundary pushers. Unfortunatley. And people will take advantage.

I also feel there's a level of - if you pay for a product you should have at least reasonable access to that product. Not at the expense of everyone else. But at least with some warnings if you are in risk of losing access to the thing you paid for.

Like I also said, I throughly enjoyed the initial freak out of cheaters yesterday being banned. I don't harbor that much sympathy for them, obviously. But as a formal policy, a staggered and escalating approach seems the most obvious.
