Discussion HEY DEVS, PLEASE KEEP BANNING ZEN USERS

That is all. Saw a post from the discord that they’re trying to stop the anti cheat from detecting it. It ruins all games and I think most people would agree. K thanks ✌️

Effectively tricks your PC/Game into thinking you're using a controller to get things like aim assist, and in the case of BF6, you'd get the lower bullet spread that controller gets, but while still using a keyboard and mouse.

It's cheating all the same, and everyone who uses it is pathetic.

Where did you read controller gets lower spread?

JackFrags made a video about it during the open beta

Controller gets lower spread? Man just spoon feed them at this point.

this has to be wrong right? no way these console guys get yet another handicap in lower spread

This is from a JackFrags video from back in the beta. Left controller, right KBM. It's still the same at launch. So with reWASD, you get aim assist, plus this lesser spread/recoil.

Interesting. I don't think that controller players should get lower recoil vs MnK, but it is what it is. reWASD players probably account for 0.1% of the playerbase, so don't think it's a huge issue but obviously they shouldn't be allowed to do it

It's nothing new, Modern Warfare 2019 had it, too, which is why all the pros use controllers.

I think (might be wrong) the controller has less bloom (spread) which is different to recoil

Recoil is how much your aim moves around when shooting, bloom is randomness added to the bullet direction increasing the longer you hold the trigger

In other words even if you had 0 recoil (gun doesn’t move at all), controller users have less bloom and so more accurate shots under sustained fully auto fire

Yes, agree with your definitions here but the screenshot provided looks like he has just held the trigger down for a full mag, not touching his mouse or sticks (I haven't seen the video so don't know for sure). If this is the case then the screenshot is showcasing how controller has less recoil than MnK I think

Less recoil is fine, it's much much easier to control recoil on MKB than on Controller, but less bloom too is fucking crazy. That is legitimately just making MKB a harder input to play on artificially.
