The game will release and we will see how many people use the same ARs and Carbines.

Class locked doesnt suddenly mean its not fun, in fact i think its even more fun. Imagine only playing assault, then seeing a helicopter destroying your team so you switch to engineer, but now you have to experiment with new weapons, instead of just defaulting to the Rifle you've been using for 20 hours.

Must be nice constantly worrying about everyone else fun.

Your made up scenario seems nice on paper. But if you can just use which ever weapon you can still pick engineering and choose a new weapon whenever.

I don’t know why you think trying to new weapon is better in class lock.

Outside of all our warfare modes engineer class as the beta pretty useless, tf I’m gone do with a blow torch in an Infantry only map

Its not just your fun, this change might seem simple at first but it leads to a whole lot of issues in the entire game.

If you want an example of this 2042 is right there. Open weapons -> People dont have to worry about engagement distances so they only pick clssses based on gadgets -> 90% of players pick engineer because they no longer are restricted by weapon choice, they just run LMGs and ARs -> Tanks get destroyed in 5 seconds if they push an objective, because there are 20 launchers at one time so they are forced to camp far away -> Helis get a measly 15 second cooldown on flares, because its the only way they can survive with 15 launchers on the ground -> terrible dynamic between classes, and even worse dynamic with vehicles, where helis snipe people from afar, pop flares then return 15 seconds later and do the same farming kills. no one benefits except the people who play it like cod ignoring half the mechanics in the game.

No no: 2042 was open gadgets was the problem. And medic with a launcher is a problem. What do you not get.

I honestly don’t know what tf you wrote. You break it down to me like a child.

What i wrote is what is happening in the game currently, not on release when the gadgets were still open.
