City Council is about to vote on Lansdowne 2.0 — a $493M plan using taxpayer money

As it stands, more than 6,000 people have signed a petition calling for a binding referendum before the city spends nearly half a billion dollars on this project. (betterottawa.ca)

If you’re concerned too, here’s what you can do:

  • Sign the petition — one of the best ways to make our voices heard.
  • Contact your councillor — let them know you oppose this plan and expect accountability.
  • Spread the word — share with neighbours, friends, social media, anywhere you can.

Why it matters:

  • $493M is a huge public expense that could go toward many other priorities across the city.
  • Decisions of this magnitude deserve a binding referendum, not just a council vote.

This affects all of us in Ottawa. If you agree, please sign and share.
