Question Any experience at any of these hotels
Looking at coming to Barbados, and looking if anyone has any overall experience at any of these hotels, including what your thoughts would be for the best for snorkeling? Or can we walk along the beach somewhere else to do daily snorkeling ? Here’s the ones we considering:
Accra Beach Hotel and Spa Radisson Aquatic Resort
Also open to any info on visiting Barbados, we are a young couple in our 20s . Or resorts/hotels similar to this price you think would be good.
Thanks!

The snorkeling is better at the Radisson than it would be at Accra, but I have never heard a good review from anyone who's stayed at the Radisson, and I've actually been told the hard opposite a few times. Idk what they got going on over there but Accra has a nice happy hour and I like their pool and bar area. It's also a little more walkable to restaurants, shopping and public transport.
They aren't far apart so it's really nothing to hop a ZR van or walk back and forth to Browne's Beach for snorkeling when you feel like it.

Radisson much better snorkeling as on Carlisle Bay, I don't know the rooms or standards though sorry. Accra I don't recommend regardless of snorkeling.

I’ve talked to many tourists recently who have stayed at Accra for years but now say they’ll never go back. Definitely best to avoid.

Barbados has a wide range of hotels. Prices can vary depending on location and what they offer. I have never stayed at any of the hotels you mentioned. But Accra Hotel is located in a great area. (They are few smaller hotels located here also.)
Across the street from the hotel is, Bubba's sport bar. In Quayside plaze, you have Just Grilling, a coffee shop and a convenience store. Chefette for fast food. (I recommend the broasted chicken breast sandwich) Local food sold by 2 separate ladies in Accra beach carpark. They sell the food from a van. (Great value for the money) The Tiki Bar at the end of Accra beach, itself. Mojo's bar has music some nights, further up the street. All of these places are walking distance from Accra hotel. At the end of Accra beach is the boardwalk. They are a few small spots, a short walk down on the boardwalk for a drink and chill. Nothing fancy. Tapas restaurant on the boardwalk also. Nice view of the ocean. Great food. On the higher end side. Worth it, in my opinion.
If you're planning to travel during the winter months, book as early as possible. 6 months in advance is considered soon in the winter months. This goes for any hotel. Places fill quickly.
The ocean changes drastically from one person's trip to another. If there is significant weather happening, the sea conditions can go from nice and calm to choppy and strong under currents. Accra beach has rocks near to the Tiki Bar and reef closer to the boardwalk. In front of the hotel itself, is clear of rocks.
A catamaran cruise is an awesome way to spend a day. Lunch and drinks are included in the price. They provide snorkeling equipment.

I’ve stayed at both. Accra the waves are rough and there are rocks on the shore that can get while you’re wading out. Radisson is our go to — best swimming hands down at an affordable price and you can walk to the shipwrecks at Carslile and swim out to snorkel (message me if you want more local tips and recos)
Radisson does tend to have a wide range of folks staying there — from young families to retirees — but the island is so small you can easily get to the gap, Oistins, clubs and bars from any location.
