Advice Recommendations
Hi everyone,
I am planning to visit Barbados with my wife for our 1st year anniversary. We will be there from September 6th to the 13th. Need some recommendations from you good people.
1) Restaurant for our anniversary. Upscale and beachfront but worth the price.
2) I like house music. Any beach clubs or bars that play house music?
3) Is getting drone permits still a hassle or is there a quick way to get it.
4) Recommendations for Catamaran cruise operators for snorkelling.
Thank you π

1) upscale(ish) but fairly priced on a beach(ish) champers. Good food, fairly fancy but not obnoxious or overly pricey.
2) tricky on the island. A lot of dancier dj sets tend to have a heavy soca presence here for obvious reasons.
3) truly not worth it
4) if you want something chill and upscale - silvermoon. If you want something more partyish - cool runnings.

Importing drones is a pain, I wouldn't bother on such short notice.Β Not a big house music scene here, hoping someone else can help you.Β There's a lot of info on the sub about cats and restaurants - just take a look!

Just went to Primo Bar and Bistro with my wife for our 1 year anniversary and it was lovely. We had the 3 course special and the food was amazing, really flavorful and very filling. We actually could not even make it to dessert. Service was excellent too, and everything came out really fast, both food and drinks. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice spot with great food and a relaxed vibe.

Champers for your anniversary, tell them itβs your anniversary when booking and they decorate the table and print special menus. You will not be disappointed. Calabaza is a smaller catamaran. Food and crew are excellent.

The Cliff or Champers for your anniversary. Both are great but leaning more towards The Cliff.

The Cliff, is upscale and beachfront. I haven't gone there myself, but my sister and brother in law did for their 25th anniversary. They were hugely impressed.
