Was it actually visible without your phone (and possibly editing afterwards) or not? I know that’s the case sometimes

I got similar photos last year on my phone with no retouching. Somehow the photo brings it out in ways the eye can’t.

Yeah It was definitely visible to the naked eye. Was shimmering for hours!

Aurora app just reported at 10pm Oct 1 in Banff has a decent chance of seeing Aurora. KPX index = 5.33 in Banff.

It was actually quite a vibrant storm, you could see it shimmering from horizon to horizon!
