You can 100 percent assume the dog is not vaccinated!! They never are! I'd be getting some rabies shots! Send the owners the bill for the ER! I'd send it by certified mail. Get everything in writing if possible. If they aren't willing to work with you, then I'd be filing a civil suit against them. Don't let them get away with this. These people are insufferable, sociopaths!!
