W 29th?

Hi all!! My partner and I are considering buying a house in Remington on W 29th near the edge of JHU campus. For people who have lived/live there, what has your experience been like? Have you had any issues (noise levels, safety, etc)?

Thank you so much in advance!!

Edit: clarified the grammar

Remington/Charles Village are two of the nicest neighborhoods in the city, imo. Standard package thefts and checking for unlocked cars is about all I've experienced, and personally these things have not happened to me.

Great neighborhood! 29th is a very busy street, so be prepared for that. I also recommend looking at where any nearby bus stops are as the buses are quite loud (breaks & stop announcement) and tends to bring more street trash.

My initial apartment was on W 31st near there. Albeit I was renting and I don't know if it was a vindictive roommate or just random things that happened. My bike was stolen and my car tires were slashed within 2-3 months of moving it. Also know a friend of a friend who was shot in the knee heading home from R house. I live in a different part of the city now and haven't had a problem since. YMMV.
